UPDATE 12/26/2017 8:00 p.m.: Ross had another wife and three kids in St Louis, Missouri. NICOL LEE McClung Ross psychologist, pharmacy technician was the wife born 1973. She filed for divorce. He didn't reply to the divorce so Judge granted wife sole custody of all three kids in 2008. Final judgment of case below. That wife and kids dodged a bullet or two. Based on their FB pages they are doing well.

Turns out he never had a relationship with his three previous daughters. Here is one of them talking about him months before Milan killed his current family. She should feel happy about not having a relationship with him now. He stole her "innocence?" That doesn't sound too good.

He's trying to help and motivate strangers but not his own daughters...in tired of being sweet and polite about how i feel...this man can not be who he pretends to be....he is making me pay for his mistakes (abusing me for years before disappearing) when all I wanted was a relationship with my father....maybe he will hear me now..silence and fear is what gives abusers their power and I'm taking mine back! This man stole my innocence and my peace!"
Milan Ross attended Central Visual And Performing Arts High School in St. Louis, Missouri. Milan Ross had a lot of traffic tickets, fines, judgments, scroll to the bottom for all the cases. He never bothered to reply to most of them. One time he was represented by the public defender in a civil case. I'm still figuring that out.
It turns out his mother filed to divorce his father in 1987. In 1989 father filed to divorce his mother and was granted. He then remarried Louise Nadene Brown born January 13, 1963, younger than his elder children. Then she filed for divorce and changed her name back to brown. Mother ended up being sued by the lottery which gave her, her prize for violating the contract. Then mother got cancer, lots of medical bills and died. Mother filed for bankruptcy four times. Anthony Milan Ross comes from a very broken home. Still, no excuse to murder people.
ORIGINAL: Yesterday on Christmas Anthony Milan Ross, 47 killed his wife Iris Lea Sutherland Ross, 36, and their two children, Nigel Ross, 11 and Anora Ross, ten months. The couple was going through a divorce. Anthony was to have the children Christmas Eve and Iris was to have the children Christmas day. When Iris came to pick up her children Anthony shot her. He then barricaded himself in his apartment and shot his two children. Eventually police entered and arrested Milan but not after he had shot one officer who will survive.

I see two cases against him in Maricopa County, Arizona both 2017 case numbers are close. I think they refiled the case with correct charges. It wasn't aggravate assault but attempted murder as he shot the cop.

Milan Ross stated that he had issues, "I was trapped in my morbidly obese body for eighteen years. I was 6’4″ and 518 pounds at my heaviest, and I struggled with secret depression, angst, and despair. On the outside, I was a jokester, but inside, I felt hopeless about my health. I didn’t believe that I could do anything to change my body, and I woke up every morning feeling trapped in my body-tomb." He said he eventually had to get a job to get health insurance for his family. He went to work for Whole Foods. After he'd been there a while they offered a health program for overweight employees. He took advantage of the program and started losing weight.
I am pretty sure that Anthony Milan Ross' parents were James Adams Ross 1941-2009, 68 and Joanette Spaulding 1944-2008, 64. He has three older sisters and one older brother. One sister is Jacqueline. He had a brother named James Adams Ross Jr. born 1966 died 2005. James Jr was a repeat criminal. He would burglar people's homes. Once he was convicted to burglarizing people's homes. In 1984 in St. Louis, Missouri, then 18 year old James told the judge, St. Louis Circuit Judge Evelyn M. Baker, he just needed money to tide him over before he enlists in the military. Judge felt bad for him and only gave him probation. The Judge a female also hired him to work around her house and the homes of her neighbors. James Jr then burglarized the Judge's house and her neighbors taking money and jewelry! That Judge sent him to prison for six years for violating his probation.

In July his wife filed for divorce.
"The divorce records show Iris Ross worked at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center as the director and healthcare administrator for the outpatient surgery center.
As part of the divorce settlement, she would pay her ex-husband $766 a month for child support since she made $150,000 annually, significantly more than his $30,000 a year."
The only court issue he had was a recent traffic ticket for driving with a suspended, revoked, cancelled license and improper left turn couple of months ago. Wonder why his license was suspended.
