UPDATE: 06/15/2016: The case is formally in the online system. It's being heard at the LAX court house. He plead not guilty. The preliminary hearing is set for June 29, 2016 but I doubt it'll take place that soon. They always get postponed. This is a complex case with I think three other cases in Kentucky and Indiana.

It just keeps getting stranger. James Howell fled Indiana as he was under investigation for allegedly having sex with a 12 year old girl in his car.

06/14/2016 12:35 PM PST -- The D.A. just released more details about what was inside Howell's car. Cops found a black hood, taser, handcuffs a buck knife, security badge and a 5-gallon container of gasoline. The combo of dangerous materials is why the D.A. has asked for an increase in bail from $500,000 to $2,000,000.

Seems SMPD chief got a few details wrong in the original press conference. The suspect stated he was just going to the WeHo pride parade. Suspect didn't state he was going to shoot or blow it up. Seems he was fleeing Indiana to avoid prosecution for probation violation. He was on probation for pointing a gun at someone in a harassing manner. He was also involved in a criminal case in Kentucky where he's from. That case involves evading police. Robert Boyd is suspect's attorney in the Kentucky case. He said the mother and father are still trying to find out what happened. A neighbor said James is "young and stupid and had a mouth on him." That is the neighbor which James threatened with a gun.

He is 20 years old, lives in Jeffersonville, Indiana, went to Ballard High School class of 2013, works at Clarcor Air Filtration Products Inc, used to work at Universal Protection Services and Geek Squad City.

He was born March 31, 1996 in Fayette, Kentucky. His mother is Brenda S McIntosh born 1970. His father is Franklin J Howell born 1969. They were married in Kentucky December 18, 1988. He was charged with a felony. Bail is $500,000.June 14, 2016 is his first court hearing. He's in Santa Monica Police Dept. He supports the NRA and is into conspiracy theories against the government. He gave an Indiana police dept a one star review saying they were to slow to catch him speeding.

James Howell had a criminal record in Indiana (sic), "He was arrested less than a year ago for a pointing a gun in a threatening manner ... TMZ has learned. Howell got in an argument with his Indiana neighbor last October when he pulled a gun in anger. He was arrested and charged with pointing a firearm at another, as well as intimidation. Howell copped a plea -- the firearm charge was dropped, and he pled to intimidation. Howell is currently on one year probation for that crime."

How was he allowed to keep his guns or buy new ones?

UPDATE: Added mother, brothers, litigation history of mother, brothers and father who was involved in quite a few auto incidents. Father was a truck driver.

Adacia Chambers, Adacia Avery Chambers was born in Oologah, Oklahoma and is 25 years old. Her father is Floyd Nelson Chambers born February 27, 1969. Floyd's ex-wife was Pamela Ann Chambers born April 10, 1970. They divorced in 2005 with minor children. They had two boys Joseph and Michael who were born about 1987 as per one lawsuit. I don't think this is mother of Adacia based on age of children at divorce. Joe is high voltage line man. He also went to Oologah-Talala High School. He works at Diversified Services Inc. Her grandfather on her father's side is the late Wayne Owen Chambers (1932 - 2013). Adacia Chambers lived with her father in Oologah, Oklahoma until six to eight months ago when she moved to Stillwater to be with a boyfriend. She is a 2008 graduate of Oologah High School.

She worked at Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers which was close to the parade route. A coworker stated she was sent home from work as she appeared to be on drugs. Her family and friends stated as far as they know she is not an alcoholic or drug user. She was referred to as a quiet person.

According to this source she was upset that she was fired from her job 30 minute before the accident happened. Some say she walked fine before and after the crash. I don't see a drunk driver able to speed through a crowd at 45 mph. According to her father she told him she wanted to come home few days before the accident. Sounds like she was upset and losing her job might have been the final straw. We still don't have all the facts.

I don't know what to think yet. We don't have all the facts. I would like to think this was an accident but she appears physically able to walk away from her car wreck so she can't be that drunk. She also seems to not be upset. Maybe it was a bad mixture of prescription meds but she appeared healthy? I really want to think this was an accident but it doesn't appear that way. If it were, the young woman would be in tears and extremely upset. If I had a car accident and killed people, I would want to kill myself. Of course I don't drink, do drugs and drive. There is probably a lot more going on. Such a sad situation for everyone. Her mugshot makes her look distraught. Still, if I had a car accident and killed people, I'd be beyond distraught. I'd want to be dead. This is probably why I've never hurt anyone in my life and I obey all the laws.

UPDATE: People stated she was not drunk or on drugs but was suffering from a mental condition at the time. So incredibly sad for everyone. She was suicidal. Maybe she thought she'd kill herself in the accident? She did not apply the brakes of her car.

I found a lot of lawsuits for Floyd Nelson Chambers and his two sons Joseph and Michael Chambers. Here is a summary. They seem to be involved in a lot of auto accidents. Dad was a truck driver for General Trucking.
