Beautiful bronze statues of Jackie Robinson and his brother Matthew Mack Robinson who both grew up in Pasadena, California. They were both amazing athletes and people. Jackie Robinson broke the baseball color line when he started at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947. Mack was an Olympic athlete who won a medal in track and field.

Mack is on the left and Jackie is on the right. These are some of the most beautiful bronze sculptures I've ever seen.

UPDATE: 07/14/2019 Joy Villa went to the President's social media summit in another ridiculous costume. She cheered for traitor Sebastian Gorka who has a criminal record in the US and Hungary. Sebastian Gorka couldn't get a security clearance to work in the White House. Joy Villa is only working her vile support of Trump to sell music and cheap items on her website.

Joy is a member of Ancestry. I see the tree she made for herself. She knows her grandpa is Italian born in Argentina. He was born there as the family fled Italy. They are pure Italian. ORIGINAL: I had never heard of Joy Angela Villa until tonight. Then I saw her hateful MAGA border wall dress that she wore to the Grammys. I had to wonder why an African American woman of immigrant Italian descent would support Donald Trump, MAGA and building a useless border wall.
Joy Angela Villa was born in Orange County, California April 25, 1986. She stated she graduated from Lompoc, California high school in 2004 but I only see her in the school yearbook in 2001. Her father Joseph Mario Villa Jr 1939 - 2012 was of pure Italian descent. Her mother Mildred Angela Pierce 1956 - 2009 was pure African American. Joy has, had two sisters, Rebekah Joy Villa and Veronica Stephanie Villa. Joy married Thorsten Overgaard around 2016.

Her paternal grandmother Mary Ann Francis Reina 1911- 1994 was born in Florida but was also of Italian descent. Joy's paternal great grandparents were all born in Italy. They were farmers then owned a liquor store.

Joy's maternal great grandparents were born in Mississippi and Alabama. They were slaves then farmers then owned a grocery store then were teachers, in the military and in real estate. Her great grandmother was a teacher and a member of the Women's Negro Association who traveled to Washington for civil rights. Her third great grandfather Sgt John W Jenkins enlisted with the Union in the Colored Troops Military Service to fight in the Civil War against slavery. Her ancestors worked hard for the rights Joy enjoys today and she just steps all over that to support racism and hate. Joy Villa has no American Indian per her family tree. They are pure African American on mother's side. Father side is pure Italian.
Clearly Joy Villa is the descendant of African Americans and Italian immigrants. She is half pure Italian on her father's side. She is half pure African American on her mother's side. Why would she support Donald Trump, MAGA and building a useless wall? Her dresses the last few years were insulting. African American Rev. Michael Bruce Curry gave the sermon for the royal wedding of Meghan Markel and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex. He has claimed that he is descended from slaves. After some research this is confirmed. Not only that but his father, grandfather and great grandfather were all ministers like himself.
Rev. Michael Bruce Curry was born March 13, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois. His father was Rev. Kenneth Steward Lee Curry born August 15, 1924 in Stark, Ohio, died February 27, 1990 in Buffalo, Erie, New York.

Father Kenneth Steward Lee Curry was born August 15, 1924 in Canton, Ohio. His parents were the Reverend Theotis Curry and Carrie Estella Mitchell Curry. He attended elementary school and graduated with honors from McKinley High School in Canton. He attended Wayne University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilberforce University, in Wilberforce, Ohio. Inspired to continue his education, he received a Masters of Divinity from Seabury Western Theological Seminary. He was ordained to the diaconate and the priesthood of the Episcopal Church in the diocese of Chicago, Illinois.
In 1948, Father Curry was united in holy matrimony with Dorothy Ada Strayhorne of Yonkers, New York. To this union two children were born, Michael Bruce and Sharon Adrienne. Rev. Michael followed his father into the priesthood.
During his ministry, Father Curry served as Priest of St. Simon of Cyrene in Maywood, Illinois, Rector of St. Cyprianâ??s in Detroit, Michigan, Rector of St. Markâ??s in Suffolk, Virginia and for seventeen years as Rector of St. Philip's Episcopal Church of Buffalo, New York. While Rector of St. Philip's Buffalo, he was the Dean of Central Erie Deanery and served as Chaplain at Emergency Hospital. Before his retirement he served as Supply Priest for a number of parishes in the Diocese of Western New York, as well as the Diocese of Southern Ohio. During the 1970s Father Curry served as Commissioner of Human Resources for the City of Buffalo and later as Director of Human Relations.
In 1958 Father Curry established the St. Philip's community Center which continues to provide vital services to the youth of the community. For a number of years Father Curry taught as a substitute teacher in the Buffalo Public School System. Father Curry served as a member of the board of Managers for the Towne Gardens Development Corporation. Curry Walk of that development was named in his honor.
He was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.

Dorothy Ada Strayhorne Curry, 44, wife of the Rev. Kenneth Curry, rector of St. Philip's, Buffalo, N.Y., died January 15th, after a long illness. Mrs. Curry, a 1942 graduate of West Virginia State College, received the M.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1944. She was a former mathematical statistician at Wright-Patterson AFB, and a former professor of mathematics at Wilberforce University. She was a permanent teacher in the Buffalo Public School system. She and Fr. Curry were married in 1948, and they had lived in Buffalo since 1956. A Pontifical Solemn High Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Philip's by the Bishop of Western New York. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A memorial fund at St. Philip's has been established in her memory. Her ancestry is the same as her husband Michael. Obviously almost all African Americans who've lived in the US a few generations were kidnapped slaves. Such a horrible past our nation has. Hopefully we can at least try to make amends in some way.
Paternal grandfather of Michael Bruce Curry is Rev. Theotis Calhoun Curry. Interesting is that the names "Calhoun" and "Curry" are of Scottish origin. My family is of Scottish, Irish origin. It appears Scottish, Irish people by the name of Cummins came early to the US. They eventually owned farms ... and sadly slaves. That's why there are so many African Americans named "Cummins."

Paternal grandmother is Carrie Estrella Mitchel, born November 5, 1882 in Batesville, Alabama, died June 23, 1963 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan. She had light skin and eyes and somewhat straight hair. Back then if you were 1/32 African American, you were legally considered "black." What if you were 31/32 white, Asian, Mexican...? You were still considered "black."
I believe the death of Michael Brown was a horrible tragedy. No one wants to kill an unarmed man or any man. His parents and others don't believe the Officer's story because it sounds a little crazy which it does. Brown's behavior made no sense. Why walk into a mini-mart, steal $45 worth of cigarillos then grab the shop manager by the collar and threaten him knowing you are being videotaped? Here is video of what happened in the convenience store. He grabs one pack of cigarillos and hands them to his friend behind him. His friend looks at the pack. Ultimately his friend put the pack back on the counter. He obviously did not want to buy or steal them. Then Brown reaches over the counter and grabs a big box of packs of cigarillos. He clumsily drops them on the floor then picks up the packs. Then he walks out the door with the store person trying to block his exit. Brown shoves the person, goes to leave, turns around and goes after the clerk again. This is not normal store robbing behavior. A sane thief would have just grabbed the item and ran out the door. They wouldn't have merely walked or shoved the clerk or come back after the clerk.
This is Officer Wilson's description of what happened next. After robbing the store Brown walks down the middle of the street. Officer Darren Wilson approaches in his car and asks him to get out of the street. He doesn't. Officer tries to get out of the car but is blocked by Brown. Brown then puts his upper body into the Officer's Tahoe SUV and starts punching him. Officer Wilson draws his gun and says "get back or I'm going to shoot." Brown states "you are too much of a pussy to shoot me" and grabs Officer Wilson's gun. Brown's DNA is found on the gun. Finally Officer Wilson shoots Brown in the hand. Brown still goes after Wilson then Officer Wilson shoots again and misses. Brown takes off down the street. Wilson gets out and tells him to stop with gun pointing at him. He again says "stop or I'll shoot." Brown stops, turns around then starts charging Officer Wilson. Wilson shoots him in arm, chest but Brown continues charging. Finally Wilson shoots Brown in the head and he drops down dead.
The above scenario makes no sense. A normal sane person would not rob a mini-mart for $45 worth of cigarillos, walk down the middle of the street, cops asks you to get out of the street, you don't, instead you charge the officer, grab his gun, try to shoot officer, get shot once, keep hitting officer, finally you run away, cop tells you to stop or he'll shoot, you turn around and charge officer, get shot a few times and keep charging until you are shot in the head and drop down dead. I can clearly see why people think the cop's story is crazy because it is. Nonetheless, multiple eye witnesses, evidence, autopsy report supports this crazy story.
Here is the toxicology report of Michael Brown. Only drug in his system was marijuana. He didn't even have alcohol in his system.

This other young healthy man ate an edible cannabis cookie. He had slightly less THC as per ng/ml in his system than Michael Brown. Because it is ng/ml it takes into account difference in sizes. "They showed a Delta-9 THC reading of 7.2 ng/mL and a Delta-9 Carboxy THC of 49 ng/mL." Brown had 12 and 45 respectively.
A man took a "bad batch of synthetic marijuana" and went crazy, "Michael Daniel, 22, allegedly smoked spice in his Waco, Texas home before he assaulted his housemates and then ran out of the house into his yard, where he began crawling around on his hands and knees. He barked and growled at a neighbor and chased him back into his home.Daniel then allegedly took his housemate's dog, a medium-sized spaniel mix, out onto the house's porch. He allegedly beat and strangled the dog, according to Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton, and then began chewing "hunks of flesh" from the animal."
I personally feel that Michael Brown was acting erratic because he may have had a cannabis edible, cannabis oil, synthetic cannabis or other undetectable drug which caused him to temporarily act insane. I totally understand why it's so hard to believe the Officer's story. I know that racism exists. I know there are some really horrible police officers who break the law and kill people. Still, the evidence supports the Grand Jury's ruling. If a police officer feels his life is in danger, he can use lethal force. Brown had his hand on the Officer's gun. Based on his behavior I believe he was going to try to shoot the Officer. The Officer followed the law. Brown unfortunately did not. I believe he didn't because he was under the influence of a large dosage of cannabis or some other undetectable drug. I would bet he used cannabis oil or had an edible. You're much more likely to have a crazy, violent reaction from the oil and edibles. If not that, he had another drug in his system which current toxicology cannot detect.
I'm sure most readers remember the case of Rudy Eugene who ate homeless man Ronald Poppo's face.
The only thing in his system was also marijuana. One expert stated he could have had a drug which current toxicology tests cannot identify. The families and friends of Michael Brown, Levy Thamba and Rudy Eugene all stated that they were acting completely out of character like demons. Hopefully they have preserved blood samples which they can test at a further date when the labs have better blood tests.
Wu-Tang Rapper Andre Johnson smoked some marijuana, went crazy, cut off his own penis then jumped off a balcony to try to commit suicide. He admitted he smoked some pot and obviously had some very strange and violent thoughts.
Young white girl bought some legal synthetic weed from a store. She took some, went to sleep, woke up hallucinating and violent. Parents called cops and paramedics. She was trying to attack and bite people, just like the guy who bit off the homeless person's face or the one who bit and ate the dog. They put her in a coma, a lot of brain tissue died, she's now blind and paralyzed.
Drug dealers keep changing the formula because each new chemical becomes outlawed when ER visits spike. There are no lab tests for all synthetic marijuana or drugs. Some can be 100x as strong as per the article. One type Bizarro Incense killed a young man.
Research has shown that cannabis intoxication can lead to acute transient psychotic episodes in some individuals. I personally believe this was the case with Michael Brown.
UPDATE: V Stiviano supposedly lost the trial court. I find it hard to believe. Shelly and Donald Sterling claim V Stiviano got her "black and mexican" friends at the bank to put her name on the deed without Donald Sterling's knowledge. I just looked at the deed. The person who signed it works for Donald Sterling and is middle eastern. There was no bank, just a grant deed. There's no reason for a bank as I see no current bank loan. Sterlings lied in court. I bet they used their connections, money, power to influence the Judge. I've seen a lot of this in Los Angeles.
I don't see the court order yet. It's not final for another 15 days. As far as I can tell Donald Sterling gave those gifts freely just like he has to many other women. Shelly's known this for years. She tried to sue another ex-friend in the past. The cars were in the name of Stiviano and even had personalized plates with her name on them. Everyone knew they were gifts to her.
Below is the last MLS listing before Donald bought the property for Stiviano. You should be able to see all the pics. I looked at all the deeds and see nothing fishy until February 2014. Sterlings are trying to change a prior transfer. They also filed a lis pendis on the property. I'm sure this case will be appealed. I think the attorney did a fine job. It just smells like corruption.

UPDATE: Donald Sterling permanently banned from the NBA and fined $2.5M. I support their decision. This should have been done long ago.

By now most people have heard the racist rant by Donald Sterling to his then girlfriend V Stiviano aka Vanessa Stiviano, aka Maria Vanessa Perez aka V Stiviano Inc. Her real name is Maria Vanessa Perez born October 21, 1982. She legally changed her name in 2010 to V Stiviano. I pulled up the documents but will not post them. She is 31 years old and has been involved in a few lawsuits, DUI and possibly a divorce with a minor child. Her mother's maiden name is Perez.
I've met Donald Sterling quite a few times in the last 30 years at real estate events here in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, California. That sounds like his voice and what he says. He is creepy, disgusting, cheap, egomaniac, racist and will try to rip you off in a business deal. This I know personally.
Everyone in real estate knows he's racist against African Americans and Mexicans besides poor people. The Korean thing was new to me. Previously he said he was fine with "Asian" tenants. I hadn't worked with his people since the 1980's so I think the "no Koreans" is newer. His people would constantly ask me for buildings for him to buy but he didn't want any in "certain" areas if you know what I mean. I was going to give him two of my pocket listings on Wilshire then someone told me he's a total shark who'll try to take every single penny in the deal so I sold them to someone else. Here is the original TMZ audio.
Below is Donald Sterling's "official" reply to this mess. This is just spin and damage control most likely from Rochelle Sterling, Donald's wife through their rep. Stiviano's reply clearly states Donald is not a party to the action. The demurrer filed by Stiviano farther below is fantastic!
"Donald Sterling has come out swinging, with the Clippers organization right behind him ... saying he and his team don't know if the audio TMZ Sports released is legit ... but he says it does NOT reflect his views toward African Americans.
Sterling and the Clippers organization tell TMZ Sports, "We have heard the tape on TMZ. We do not know if it is legitimate or it has been altered."
The statement goes on ... We do know that the woman on the tape -- who we believe released it to TMZ -- is the defendant in a lawsuit brought by the Sterling family, alleging that she embezzled more than $1.8 million, who told Mr. Sterling that she would 'get even.'"
And the statement goes on, "Mr. Sterling is emphatic that what is reflected on that recording is not consistent with, nor does it reflect his views, beliefs or feelings. It is the antithesis of who he is, what he believes and how he has lived his life."
And there's this: "He feels terrible that such sentiments are being attributed to him and apologizes to anyone who might have been hurt by them.""
Below is the lawsuit which only Rochelle Sterling filed against V Stiviano. The Sterling family, Donald Sterling did not file this lawsuit. It was filed March 7, 2014. The audio was made April 9, 2014 AFTER the lawsuit was filed. Donald Sterling and V Stiviano were still boyfriend and girlfriend at this time. The audio was released April 25, 2014. Rochelle claims that Donald gave Stiviano community funds because they are still married. Donald has had girlfriends and has been giving them expensive gifts for years. Just because they are still legally married doesn't mean he can't spend his money as he likes. We're talking about pennies in relation to his overall wealth. I think it was the duplex that really pissed off Rochelle or maybe the fact that Donald is dating an African American Mexican.
Everyone knows that Sterling and his wife have been separated for years. The lawsuit states that Donald Sterling and Stiviano were dating at the time only the wife filed the lawsuit. Rochelle claims Stiviano is a gold digger. No duh. Rochelle states Stiviano induced Donald into giving her a $1.8M duplex 8837 W 4th St, Los Angeles, CA 90048, $240K cash, two Bentleys, a Range Rover and a Ferrari. All cars were worth about $500K. Rochelle never says embezzled. She says Donald gave her the items.

Stiviano filed a demurrer April 21, 2014. I just pulled it up and it proves everything I just said. It's below. In my opinion Rochelle doesn't have a case. Donald knowingly gave gifts to Stiviano. Wife knew all about it for four years. Donald has been doing this openly for almost 50 years, their entire marriage. I'd see him at events with young women and people would tell me he was still married to Shelly. Shelly obviously accepted this because he is so in your face with it. Shelly states that Stiviano has a history of doing this to old men. I don't see this history. I do see that she filed legal documents in forma pauperis, i.e. she claimed she is broke. She did this with her name change. She worked as a volunteer in the DA office at the time.

"Plaintiff's "husband" is the exquisitely involved "on top of his game" infamous real estate mogul, professional basketball team, the Los Angeles Clippers, owner who, in accord with the verified complaint of Mrs. Sterling…is alleged to have transferred voluntary gifts to Stiviano over four years. It is axiomatic that Mrs Sterling is not even hinting that her billionaire philandering husband had performed any clandestine acts behind her, as it is alleged that Mr Sterling was making gifts to V Stiviano since 2010. Mr Sterling who is infamous for his gold plated dalliances. At no time did Rochelle state "the exceptionally successful and business brilliant Donald T. Sterlng was duped, taken advantage of, cajoled or in any manner or fashion, outsmarted. Nowhere in the complaint is it alleged that defendant so acted nor that the feminine wiles of Ms Stiviano overpowered the iron will of Donald T. Sterling who is well known as one of the most shrewd businessmen in the world."
"Instead of chastising her philandering husband, let alone curtailing his carousing, Mrs Sterling seeks to punish the defendant who has done nothing wrong. Lawsuit and claims are in the theater of the absurd."
"This is an action brought by a very angry wife whose husband is a highly public figure and who is well known to be "keeping women" other than his wife and who has done so for very many years with a big toothy grin brandishing his sexual prowess in the faces of the Pararazzi and caring less what anyone else thought, the least of which, his own wife.
Donald T. Sterling, curiously not a party in this action, has flaunted that grotesque lifestyle in front of and in his wife's face for nearly their entire marriage of 50 years. The person least fooled and least affected and least "robbed of her due" is Mrs. Rochelle H. Sterling.
At a minimum, she has been complicit for over 50 years and, here, particularly, has "looked the other way" if not put hands over her mouth, covered her eyes and attempted to cover her ears. Further, this is not the "first rodeo" as the expression goes. Mr. sterling has been very publicly involved with numerous women time and time again, whether for a particularly short "contracted" period of time, or a near four (4) year relationship as is the alleged case in this matter. It is clear from past conduct, that Mrs. Sterling has at a minimum, either "enabled" Mr. Donald T. Sterling to do, over and over again what he does, or that she approved of the varied and many gifts as described in the complaint.
The "relationship" (whatever it may have been or not been) between Mr. Donald T Sterling and Ms. V Stiviano was open, notorious, obvious and long standing. Ms Stiviano attended hundreds of events, participated in myriad charity functions sponsored by Mr Sterling and was a veritable "fixture" at his business offices over the last four years. Mrs Sterling absolutely tacitly if not openly approved of the relationship and the gifts."
I'm sure this is going to be messy. Donald Sterling is a racist and everyone knows it. What he said about Magic Johnson was really horrible. I thought they were friends. They give success seminars together. Magic is a really nice guy. I don't blame him for feeling betrayed. Magic has done so much for the community and children. He is a true philanthropist. I knew him as he used to go to my gym and I'd see him at all the parties.

I just realized that Donald Sterling still has an active law license. I just filed a complaint, request for investigation and demanded that they disbar Donald Sterling. Below is a jpg of the first page. The second page was just my name. Donald Sterling has been licensed since 1961.

I just pulled up the Donald T Sterling Foundation which is a private charity. He took out an ad and claimed he gave $5,000,000 in 2011. He gave $350K in $5K and $10K increments to schools, Jewish centers, Hispanic centers and African American charities. Here is his 990.
