Who was Vance Rodriguez, Vance John Rodriguez the once unknown hiker Mostly Harmless? by Mary Cummins

Last year I got sucked into the story of the unknown hiker who died in his tent on the trail in Florida in 2018. Earlier today I heard that they now know his name. The hiker formerly known as "Mostly Harmless" is actually Vance John Rodriguez born in 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana. While I read both stories I still wanted to know more about this mysterious person so I did some research.

Vance John Rodriguez was born February 25, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He has a twin sister named Vicki Ann Rodriguez and an older brother Larry Joseph Rodriguez. Both of his siblings are married. His parents are Lawrence Joseph Rodriguez and Ethel Rose Gaudet both born and living in Louisiana. I went back five generations and the entire family is from Louisiana. The farther back you go the more French the names become. For instance "Hoover" became "Oubre." The English sounding names were Anglicized from French. I went back to the 1700's.

Below is the obituary of his paternal grandfather Albert Rodriguez who died recently. His paternal grandmother is still alive.

"Albert Rodriguez. A native of St. Martinville and longtime resident of Cade, Albert was born on January 13, 1926 to Joseph Adam Rodriguez and Stella Bonin Rodriguez. Albert honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He married the love of his life, Laura Mae Louviere, on May 14, 1947, a union that lasted 73 years. He worked as Assistant Chief Engineer at Iberia Sugar Cooperative for 45 years. Following his retirement in 1992, he enjoyed gardening, fixing things around the house, monitoring his rain gauge, and tending to his perfectly manicured lawn. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. A firm believer in hard work and providing a good life for his family, he was proud to instill these virtues in his children and grandchildren. In his words, “I might have told you this already, but I’m going to tell you again…”

He is survived by his wife, Laura Louviere Rodriguez; three sons, Mike (Vicky C.) Rodriguez, Lawrence (Ethel G.) Rodriguez and Sherman J (Susan B.) Rodriguez; daughter, Linda Rodriguez (Douglas) Landry; grandchildren, Larry J Rodriguez, Vance J Rodriguez, Steven J Rodriguez, Vicki R Derouen, Tiffany R Gauthier, Renee' Landry Ortego and Breigh V. Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Alaina Rodriguez, Katherine "Katie" Derouen, Laura Derouen, Olivia Gauthier, Sarah Gauthier, Evan Rodriguez and Tevin L. Ortego; one great grandson on the way, Breck Ry Ortego; brother, Allen Rodriguez; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Louviere Broussard and Judy Louviere Berard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Adam and Stella Bonin Rodriguez; sister, Edith Rodriguez Boutte; brother, Alton Rodriguez; and a great grandson, Ryzer J Ortego."

Below is the obituary of his maternal grandfather Joseph Gaudet. His maternal grandmother is dead but her obituary is identical to this one with a few changes that you can see in the above tree.

"Joseph Gaudet Sr. Funeral services were held Morday, March 3, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Joseph Gaudet Sr., 92, who died Saturday, March 1, 1997 in a Lafayette hospital. Burial followed in St. Michael Cemetery. Mr. Gaudet was a member of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Leila Berthelot Gaudet; five sons, Clifton Gaudet and Dennis Gaudet, both of St. Martinville, Louis Gaudet of Moss Bluff, Raymond Gaudet of Loreauville and Joseph Gaudet Jr. of Broussard; six daughters, Hilda Gaudet. Mrs. Billy (Lillian) Fontenot and Mrs. Lawrence (Ethel) Rodriguez, all of Lafayette, Mrs. Robert (Jenny) Bateman of Houma; Shirley Hernandez of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Allen (Joyce) Gondron of Loreauville; a sister, Amelie Trosclair of Loreauville; 26 grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and eight sisters. Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements."

Researching newspapers.com shows that he received awards for excellence in school and received a partial scholarship to go to college. The previous two articles linked above go into more detail of his early life and life on the trail. Based on everything I've read his family seems like a typical normal caring family that worked, went to church and were very involved in the community. Vance clearly had some personal issues and demons. Too bad he could never recover enough to rejoin society in a healthy successful manner.

Who was Michael Wesley Collins, Michael of Light, God? Mental illness, biography, family, history

Michael Wesley Collins took his own life January 9, 2019 in New York. He was a successful student, singer, software designer, yoga instructor who was much loved and traveled the world. He was also mentally ill allegedly suffering from schizophrenia and manic depression which made him believe he was God, Archangel Michael, the leader of Anonymous and Jesus Christ himself.

In the below unlisted video posted September 2018 he says "Michael of Light was poisoned by a government intelligence agency, and this is his Livestreamed farewell address before the poison took his life." I started it at the last few minutes. You can clearly see he is mentally ill and hurting even though he's trying to put on a good face. He also uploaded the file and added the text after he "died" as this was not a live stream. He'd been preparing for a dramatic exit for months.

A summary of what happens in the entire video is way below.

How did Michael Collins go from successful, charismatic, much loved person, father, husband to mentally ill, abandoning his family and talking about suicide for at least the last six months of his life? What happened to cause this? We may never know the full story but we have some clues.

He was born April 3, 1978, in Buffalo to Mary Lee Collins a financial advisor and Michael Paul Demske who is in the family printing business. He has a younger sister named Christine. In 1996 he graduated from Amherst Central High School. In 2000 he graduated from State University of New York at Binghamton. In 2008 he graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

It appears his parents divorced when Michael and his sister Christine were younger. Michael Paul Demske then married Jacquelyne and had another child Virginia in 1992 when Michael was 14. This means Michael and his sister were even younger when his parents divorced. As young adults Michael and his sister Christine both used the last name Demske then started using their mother's last name Collins instead. It appears there was a contentious divorce which involved a lawsuit Demske v Demske. Mother asked for more child support to help pay for college. Father sued stating she didn't prove that her income and his child support weren't enough. At that time and since then Michael Paul Demske belongs to an expensive country golf club with his newer wife. This may have contributed to stress on the children though Michael's sister appears fine.

The mother's side of the family is very well educated and successful. The father's side is in the paper, lithography business and musically inclined. It makes sense that Michael would go into business and be a hobby musician, singer, dancer.

After college he worked as a Software Architect at Synacor from 2005-2014. He was also VP of Product Development at MedPath Solutions Inc and a Software Engineer at Airtime. He met and married Kristy Miller around 2002. Together they have three children, twins Drew and Anna born 2007, and Bailey born later. Here are some pics from that time. 2014-2016. Around 2009 Michael Collins took a keen interest in yoga. He's the type of person that would go deep into something he was interested in as he did with software design. He soon became a yoga master according to his sister. Eventually he taught yoga at different retreats. Here's a flyer from one retreat. He went by the name Michael Wesley Collins then Michael Yogananda Samadhi eventually becoming Michael Samadhi-Christ. During this time he's staying at expensive hotels having expensive meals and appeared to be enjoying life even with a girlfriend Jacqueline Nicole (not her real last name). They dated from about 2014 to end of 2016. She was a yoga teacher for children. At that time he was still somewhat clean cut and living in New York. He'd abandoned his wife and children in NY before that time. The last pic of him with his twins is beginning of 2014.

October 2017 he was in Indonesia giving yoga classes and "healings." In this video he talks about being arrested for rage and mental illness. He said he was just defending himself. This is probably how he lost his job as a yoga teacher in Indonesia and elsewhere.

Early 2016 he was still with his girlfriend. She was invited to a posh wedding and he went with her. The wedding was in Trump's Mar-a-lago. Here Michael shows off these pics of him in wealth. Clearly this doesn't jive with the Jesus Christ image of himself.

His life started to really unwind before he went to Israel in 2018. He started a church (not a real legal church) One Divine Love and asked for donations to pay for his travels. Some thought it was a scam just to make others pay for his vacations. His other followers gave donations and he went to Israel to visit the holy land. I've noticed the followers who supported him appear to also be mentally ill. These people are now posting stating he wasn't mentally ill. He was God just like them.

While in Israel he dressed like Jesus from Jesus Christ Superstar the movie and took photos and videos of himself at scenic spots and sights. He visited the holy sites. He allegedly made a scene at a couple of holy sites and was asked to leave. Later for unknown reasons he entered a stranger's home. They called police. Per his own words he told police he was there to save the family. They put him under another mental illness police hold then deported him back to the US. Michael stated he lost his money and passport at that time.

In his photos you see over time that he is transforming into Jesus Christ, a God.

He returned home in October 2018 and that is when he started saying he was homeless, penniless and deserted by his family. Per his family he was not homeless. They always offered him help. He just refused mental health help. Below is a video where he talks about the fact that people have questioned his mental health. He said he can't possibly be a mentally ill schizophrenic manic depressive because he's God. Notice he keeps talking in this fake voice, fake posture.

As you can see from his Facebook page October 2018 he was in Israel then stated he was being deported. You can tell from the videos at that time that he was unraveling. His girlfriend left him during this time making things even worse for him. It doesn't appear he was a yoga instructor anymore most likely due to his worsening mental health.

November 2018 he wrote the now famous post about being homeless which everyone has seen. His family said he was not homeless. He came back home after he was deported from Israel. From there on out he was planning his suicide. He posted photos and videos from happier times. He wrote about his struggles real and imagined. That is how he wanted to be remembered, as a God, as a suffering homeless person and as a happy person living the life. If you watch the videos you will see that he admits that he might have been bad or selfish at times. He states this at the end of his September 2018 suicide attempt video above.

The only take away from this is that I feel he's finally at peace with the world and himself. Still, one question lingers. In his suicide video above he talks about reincarnation. On his FB page he talks about wanting to die, be reincarnated and come back with a fresh start. If you believe in reincarnation and kill yourself, is it really suicide? Whatever the case it's a sad tale.

If you watch from the beginning, he says if someone commits a crime, is it their fault? No, it's your fault for locking them up and pushing them until they snap. He states he's an alien who planned his birth, his life, his death, everything. He misses some words so maybe he took some sleeping pills. You can't kill yourself with over the counter sleeping pills. Maybe he didn't know that. He just appears to get a little tired. Notice he times his demise for sunset. Then he gets mad and screams "Zionists are fascists!" He says "we" hacked all bank accounts. He's part of a collective with space ships. He has blueprints for warp drives, nuclear fusion in his brain. Then he starts giggling crazily. He said when he dies he goes to his ship and presses the red button then everyone dies on earth like he hates everyone. "You" are arrogant for criticizing "me." "I was always right." "I was superman. I was really funny." He states he likes to tell jokes. When people ask him if he's Jesus, he says yes. They go "no way!" and he goes Ya, way!" as in Yaweh.

He starts crying saying goodbye to his kids. He never mentions his wife. I assume his wife besides his mother, sister tried to get him mental health help and he refused. He said his kids are intelligent. He says Bailey his son looks just like him and will be a god like him. He said his real name is "Bayley" as in the bay. His suicide video gets interrupted by safety messages about no lifeguards in a few different languages. This looks like Israel. Then he starts telling jokes. He forgives his father. He understood what he had to do. I assume that he meant leave his mother? He said his mother was overcome with demons who were trying to stop him like everyone else. Sounds like she wanted to help him, get him mental health care and he said no. He said someone gave him free coffee and that is where the poison was. Then he starts screaming at a little girl who doesn't speak English telling her to go. He tells her to "go away! I'm going to die!" Mom finally came and got her kid. He just sits there for a while.

Then he starts talking about rape. Paying for sex is rape. Taking money for sex, dating someone just for money makes you a prostitute. He said women should date men they are attracted to, who are cute. They shouldn't date for money. Then he starts talking in a baby voice giggling. Then he says looks like I have more time. Any questions? I am a god. I'm Zues, the king, lamb of god. It took me 39 years to get out of the prison of the mind. Churches are the apostasy. You're not supposed to worship dead bodies on a cross. God loves orgasms. Have them by yourself or with others. Another no lifeguards warning. Satan makes contracts like insurance, student loan debt, credit card debt. Sounds like he may have had debts. God is like a river. He said everything good in the world is in him. That's why he's god. "I had to give up everything, my family, my friends, my loved ones." Dogs are opposite of god. Cats are more enlightened than dogs. "God" is "dog" spelled backwards. It's better to be more like a cat. I'm a cat man. Then he said he'll take the final moments alone. Then he didn't die. In the video he gives a user name and password for people to use to see documents. I did. They were the right user name, password but I couldn't answer security questions because I was on a different device.

Below is his family tree. So far his ancestors are from England and Germany. Collins is the English side arriving in Virginia in the early 1600's. Demske is the German side arriving in New York in the late 1800's. The name Demske is East German slavic and means "oak."

His ancestors are from Germany and Ireland. I'll post more tomorrow.

There was a contentious divorce of Michael's parents Michael P Demske and Mary Collins Demske. This is why she took her husband's last name off of their name. This must have been a long legal case because Michael P Demske already had another kid with someone else in 1992 Virginia "Ginnie" Demske.

"SCARPELLI--Glenn Charles

COLANT--Patricia JoAnn, 53 and 50, respectively, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017. They are survived by their two children: Isabella, 20, and Joseph, 19. Glenn was born in Long Branch, New Jersey on August 30, 1963. He attended The University of Akron where he captained the soccer team. He continued his education at the Logan School of Chiropractic Medicine. Patricia was born in Akron, Ohio on July 11, 1967. She graduated from Fordham University with a degree in Economics. The two were wed on December 30, 1993 in Rome at the Vatican and opened Madison Wellness Center, their chiropractic office, in Midtown Manhattan. The two shared a love for family, fellow practitioners, patients, and most importantly for one another. Their families are grateful for the support they have received and are overwhelmed by the love of the community around them. There will be a Memorial Mass to honor and celebrate their lives at the Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, 84th and Park Ave. on Thursday, August 3rd at 10am."

UPDATE: Seems Glenn Scarpelli's father, mother had huge financial problems of their own. They filed for Chapter 13 in 2012. Very recently they got behind on their monthly payments. The bank was foreclosing on their home. The bank filed motion to lift the bankruptcy stay. The parents begged for a few months so they could catch up. That hearing was planned right before Glenn and Patricia killed themselves. Patricia had also turned 50 just days earlier. They gave a change of address for their business to the postman days before they killed themselves. Scroll down for the legal documents.

Turns out Glenn Scarpelli had just shut down his chiropractic office. Glenn and his wife jumped from their old office which they just shuttered. Their children were in their home which is on the third floor of a different building. This means the children didn't see the bodies in person. By now they've seen it all over the news. Just as bad.

ORIGINAL: Dr. Glenn C Scarpelli was born April 30, 1964 in Long Branch, Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA. He died Jul. 28, 2017 at New York, New York County (Manhattan), New York, USA. His wife Patricia Colant was born July 11, 1967, in Akron, Ohio, USA and died July 28, 2017 alongside her husband.

Dr. Glenn Scarpelli, 53, and his wife, Patricia Colant, 50, leapt to their deaths from their ninth floor office in the 14-story commercial building on Madison Ave. at E. 33 St in Murray Hill, New York. Scarpelli graduated from Brick Township Memorial High School in Brick, New Jersey in 1982, Akron University in Akron, Ohio in 1985, and Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri in 1990. He was a past president of The New York Chiropractic Council. The couple worked together at Scarpelli's chiropractic office Madison Wellness Center. They leave behind two children, Joseph, 19 and Isabella, 20 who both attend college, Glenn's brother Dr. Craig J Scarpelli, also a chiropractor, a sister Kim, brother Kyle, father, the ex-Mayor of Brick, New Jersey, Joseph C Scarpelli and mother Dorothy. Glenn's parents were ex-Mayor of Brick, New Jersey Joseph C Scarpelli b. 1939 and Dorothy C b. 1939.

Glenn's paternal grandparents were Joseph C Scarpelli and Helen A Masucci. His maternal grandparents were Auguster Mountulet and Mary Rita Crean who remarried.

Part of the suicide note read "We had a wonderful life." "Patricia and I had everything in life. ..Joseph, our extended family, friends...for each other. Our (sic) achilles heel... Patricia graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School in 1985. Patricia graduated from Fordham University in New York. She received a BS in Marketing. Patricia was a planning manager at Sears and Ross Dress For Less. She married Glenn Scarpelli. Together they had two children, Isabella, 20 and Joseph, 19. Patricia worked with her husband a chiropractor in their office Madison Wellness Center in New York. Patricia was predeceased by her father Joseph Anthony Colant. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Ann Gin Colant, siblings Andrew Maxwell, Jim Colant, Gerard (Jo Shoup) Colant, Peggy (Mark Wishman), Helen (Michael Rothberg) and Christopher (Marcia) Colant. Patricia died at the age of 50.

Patricia's paternal grandparents were Mario Colant and Providenza Bonde. Her maternal grandparents were James Ginn and Margaret Ann Gollogly Ginn.

This case is about the same student loan. This was a government backed student loan. The government put an automatic judgment against him. Judge Buchwald is a very fair judge. I had her as my judge on a case which I won. This was a student loan. He owned the money. He didn't even try to fight either of these two lawsuits.

He also owed around $213,000 (£162,000) to the federal government and almost $42,000 (£32,000) to the state in unpaid taxes dating back to 2003. Liens by the government cannot be dismissed in bankruptcy. They stay with you for life. All the government can take is a percentage of your "disposable income." This is the income left after you pay for mandatory items such as taxes, rents, food, utilities, medical, car, clothes ... If they do garnish your wages, they can only garnish a percentage of your disposable income. They could have survived financially.

I generally feel bad when someone kills themselves. In this situation I have mixed feelings. When you kill yourself in a very public, very violent manner, it means you feel wronged by the world and the gross suicide is payback against the world. The suicide notes are kind of like "look what you made us do?" Perhaps they feel they should not have to pay the student loan and back taxes? The people who saw their bodies which landed face up said they will be traumatized for life. I hope their children didn't see their bodies.

I feel this suicide was even more hurtful to others as their children and parents are still alive. Yes, the kids are legally adults but they were living with the parents and going to college. Maybe Glenn tried to borrow money from family and they said no. This could be the payback? We don't have all the facts yet.

The family does have a history of issues. The father was the Mayor of Brick, New Jersey. By most he did a good job as Mayor. He resigned in 2006. He was caught in 2006 of receiving a bribe of $5,000 to approve development projects. He plead guilty and was sent to prison for 18 months. He destroyed his career and reputation for $5,000? Actually the plea deal says "at least $5,000" so it was more. I don't know if he lost his pension but you generally do if you're found guilty of a crime while in office. Below is Joseph Scarpelli's plea deal. The count was 18: 1951(a) & 2 INTERFERENCE WITH COMMERCE BY THREAT OR VIOLENCE - DOF: 1998 - 2003. It'll be interesting to find out what was the real situation. Were they just too embarrassed to tell the world they had financial issues and would have to move to a cheaper place, make their kids pay for their own education and downgrade their lifestyle? Their friends and family would not have cared. They'd rather see them alive. Plus, when you kill yourself in this very public manner, everyone will know everything. Sure, they'll be dead but their family will forever be tainted by this act.

Knightscope security robot commits suicide in Washington D.C. building complex - Mary Cummins

Early this morning the body of Knightscope security robot named "Steve" was found submerged in a fountain in the complex. The people interviewed stated that he appeared to be happy within the last few days. No one knew what could have possibly motivated Steve to take his own life. A few did question why a fountain would have steps leading down into it that any robot could easily roll into. After Steve's body was removed over 20 Roombas were also found at the bottom of the fountain. Knightscope was contacted for a comment. Their response was "Security robot, yes. Submarine robot, no. Got it. - K5."

Steve is an "Autonomous Data Machines (ADM) which is an autonomous robot that provide a commanding but friendly physical security presence. The K3 and K5 gather important real-time, on-site data through their numerous sensors, which is then processed with advanced anomaly detection software to determine if there is a concern or threat in the area. If so, an event is created with an appropriate alert level and a notification is sent to the proper authorities through the Knightscope Security Operations Center (KSOC), a browser based user interface."

Steve actually knows exactly where he is at all times. "Each ADM operates within a predefined geo-fenced area. And much like a human, a machine does not rely solely on one sensor to determine its current location and plot a directional path. It utilizes data from multiple sensors – LIDAR, GPS, inertial and wheel odometry sensors – to develop a complete picture of its environment and determine a position within those boundaries. The ADM then carefully navigates, fully autonomously, along a random path seeking to thwart any evildoers."

Looks like back to the drawing board so ADMs can be designed to not walk off cliffs or into pools. Shouldn't they be able to detect the edge of stairs or a cliff if they were made to detect "danger?" I also believe that fountain with those steps is very dangerous. It maybe needs a child proof pool fence. Even Roombas have been able to detect steps for over five years. He's one in action not falling down the stairs. I think Knightscope's security robot is not really useful or practical. It looks like some billionaire 30 year old's toy.

From the company: Knightscope was originally founded in 2013 in response to the tragic events at Sandy Hook and the Boston Marathon. The founders believed that with a unique combination of hardware and software, they could greatly reduce crime… by as much as 50%!

Just did a tiny bit of DD. Company is bleeding money and begging for investors. This silly robot costs $60,000/year to lease it. They don't sell them. For $60,000 a year you could have a real security officer.

Autumn Snyder obituary. Her parents were Zack and Denise Snyder. Autumn was an active teenager, often pursuing involvement in charities– the most notable being the Write-A-Thon To End Homelessness For Mothers and Their Children charity. She was studying at Sarah Lawrence College and had been writing a sci-fi fantasy novel. She passed away at the age of 20. She is survived by her parents and siblings, Olivia, Willow, Jett and Ezekiel.

Autumn and Willow were adopted by Zach and his first wife Denise. They are both from China as far as I can tell. Zach and his second wife Deborah also adopted two children.

She passed away in the hospital. Coroner investigation is pending.

04/13/2017: Smith and two adult aides were in the classroom during the shooting. One aide said Cedric was shooting everyone. Cedric pointed his gun at one aide but it just clicked as he was out of bullets. The aides, students fled as Cedric reloaded the gun. That means he intentionally killed the kids. He probably did that because he knew how horrible that would make Smith feel for the last few moments of her life.

A friend of Smith stated that Smith said Anderson was acting very strangely before Smith left him. Sounds like he was having some sort of breakdown. Still, he knew what he was doing when he killed those people.

A man by the name of Lincoln Cooper met Cedric two weeks ago in a gas station. "In their first encounter, Cooper said Anderson told him about his troubled marriage and frustration with his wife's family, who he blamed for their separation.

"He mentioned about killing. He said, 'I wish I could kill them.' Not her, but the family," Cooper said.

The two talked for several minutes before Cooper invited him to his Perris ministry, The Concerned Family. There, Anderson met Cooper's wife.

"He said, 'I never did anything to her. I was trying to tell her not to take the side of her family and then I just touched her on the chest. But I did not do anything. Then she turned around and said I choked her,'" Fortunate Cooper said." Here is that article.

04/12/2017: Cedric Anderson went to Inglewood High School class of 1982. He has a brother Darryl Wayne Anderson who was the class of 1983. A woman filed a civil suit against both of them. There is no other information available about the suit.

Cedric Anderson threatened to kill his previous wife Natalie who is the mother of his three sons. This is from part of the restraining order his previous wife Natalie filed against him. Cedric has a very long history of abuse and threats.

"Cedric called and said he wanted me to pay for the divorce. I told him no, he said we would all die, me the kids and himself," ex-wife Natalie Anderson wrote in a January 1997 petition for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Natalie said the terrifying threat was made on Oct. 15, 1996. A couple months later, "Cedric called me and said he would pick the kids up from school and I would not get them back," Natalie said in the handwritten filing."

"Cedric had beat up his aunt and then called me and said, 'No b---h, the police don't have me but I'm going to bust your a-- before this is over," she claimed.

"He refused to leave and ended up jumping on me and choking me. He did this in front of his sister," she said in a follow-up filing. "I telephoned the police. They wanted to arrest the respondent, but I did not want the children to see their father hauled away in handcuffs."

Natalie, 53, said Anderson "talked" her into abandoning her restraining order case, but the verbal abuse continued.

"Since then, the respondent has been threatening to kill me. He has told other ministers and bishops, my mother, his sister and our friends that he is going to kill me," Natalie said in her declaration signed Aug. 21, 1997, a few weeks after their divorce was finalized.

Jennifer Lindsey, 50, won a three-year restraining order in 2013 after she claimed Anderson nearly killed her. She said the maintenance worker and Christian minister pounced on her in the predawn hours of May 17, 2013 while raging over her plans to go to a karaoke venue with a female friend.

"He suddenly pulled the blankets off of me and then grabbed me by my arms. He then put the pillow over my face and held it so I could not breathe," she said in her handwritten filing in Los Angeles.

"I fought as hard as I could, kicking with my feet. He still had one of my wrists and continued to push the pillow down into my face," she said.

Lindsey finally managed to break free but was severely traumatized, she said.

"I thought I would die that night," she wrote.

A week later, Anderson allegedly attacked her while she was ironing clothes for a Memorial Day dinner with him.

"(He) shoved me with his hand to my throat, pushing me onto the bed," she said. "He had a butcher knife in his hand and told me he was sick of me."

Anderson, meanwhile, went on to marry Karen Smith, 53, in January, her mom confirmed.

Shortly after the wedding, Anderson started taunting his new wife with baseless allegations she was "fooling around" and threatened to "throw her out the window," Smith's mom Irma Sykes told The News Monday.

"He was a wolf in sheep's clothing. As soon as they married, he turned on her. The real Cedric came out," Sykes, 80, said.

"She just left him, and he was angry. He tried to butter her up and say all kinds of nice things to her, after he cursed her out. Anyhow, she decided no, she was not going to stay with him. And that's why he killed her."

Today Cedric Charles Anderson went to San Bernardino North Park Elementary school and shot and killed his wife then himself. He also shot two students. One, an eight year old has died. The other is in critical condition. Who was Cedric Anderson? Everyone, when you meet someone new, do some research. Don't believe everything they say.

Cedric was born March 19, 1964. He has sons named Jared, Jeremy, Jacob Charles Anderson which are from previous wives. They were born in Snellville, Gwinnett, Georgia and Los Angeles, California, USA. His ex-wives are alive. His kids graduated from college, most are married with small children. His eldest kid is 31. Karen Elaine Sykes Smith Anderson was born November 17, 1963. Her mother is Irma Lois Alexander. Her father is Richard Sykes. She has a brother named Richard. Her ex-husband is Roderic L Smith. They were married in 1983 in Los Angeles. They had four children and many grandchildren. Their children are Roderic Lamarr, Adam, Jennifer Renee and Joshua Andrew born in the 80's. Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said Cedric Anderson had a criminal history, including arrests for domestic violence, weapons and drug charges. Burguan said he was not able to provide specifics about those cases. He said the criminal history preceded his relationship with Karen Smith. Cedric married Karen January 28, 2017.

Facebook just updated Cedric's page. This isn't going over very well. It says "Remembering Cedric Anderson. We hope people who love Cedric will find comfort in visiting his profile to remember and celebrate his life."

In some of his posts he states he has anger issues and guns. He and his family are super religious. Cedric believes his god is a vengeful god.

I see a lot of charges of domestic violence in Grayson, Gwinnett, Georgia. First another divorce. Case 11-A-02324-5 Lisa Marie Anderson (Defendant) 1700 Pinehurst View Drive, Grayson, GA 30017. Uncontested divorce filed March 9, 2011, final 05/06/2011. There was a mutual restraining order. Her original name was Lisa Marie Thomas. They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada August 3, 1997. That would mean she's not the mother to his older children. That means Natalie is the mother of his other children as they married in 1985.

The home is 4 beds, 2 bath, 2,834 sf on a 9,148 sf lot built in 2002. It was previously owned by Karen and her ex-husband Rod.

Cedric was previously married in 1985 to Natalie Cardelia Mccanelley born 1963. They lived in California City, California which is in Kern county. Maybe this is the assault bodily injury charge? She later married Rev Dwayne Boddie. Natalie just received a Masters in Psychology. She lives in Lancaster with her husband Boddie. Cedric's son is also very religious. Here she is moments before she married the crazy man. Her mother stated Karen left Cedric when she realized he had other intentions. Perhaps he wanted her money? When Karen left him is when he showed his evil side. I wish Karen had warned the entry office at her school about him. So sad.
