Texas GOP hysterics about "illegals" and alleged "border crime" in McAllen, Hidalgo, Texas - Cassandra Luevano, Homero Guzman

Cassandra Leeann Luevano, Cassie Luevano, GOP employee, mcallen, hidalgo, texas, governor, greg abbott, illegal immigrant, undocumented immigrant, politics, republica, homero guzman, azeneht lesama, micaela salazar, campaign, Church's chicken, robbery, border security

UPDATE: 02/20/2017 Seems Cassie finally realized she was a political pawn in the immigration issue. Cassie protected her tweets. You now get this message,

"Only confirmed followers have access to @CassieJ_Tx's Tweets and complete profile. Click the "Follow" button to send a follow request."

I saved her profile, tweets as a pdf if anyone needs them.

February 18, 2017, 80 year old Homero Guzman was allegedly robbed of his wallet at gun point while entering a Church's Chicken in McAllen, Hidalgo, Texas. Police arrived minutes later and took the report from Guzman.

Homero Guzman's granddaughter 25 year old Cassandra Luevano @Cassiej_Tx https://twitter.com/CassieJ_Tx who just so happens to be the South Texas regional director for the Republican Party of Texas received the news via a tweet from her sister Chandra Luevano an hour and a half later. Cassandra aka Cassie knew she had to take immediate action to "save" her grandfather. She did what any sane loving granddaughter would do and started frantically tweeting to President Trump, Governor Abbott and ICE.

She tweeted that her grandfather was the victim of a "border crime" by an "illegal" who wanted his "ID." She tweeted (sic),

"We can NOT ignore that or border has problems. All 25 of my years I have known nothing other than to be aware of our SAFTEY."

"Had my grandpa acted in defense I'd be planning a funeral!"

"Reasons why we need to MAKE America SAFE AGAIN @DanScavino #MAGA @GregAbbott_TX my Innocent grandpa targeted by illegals for his ID."

"My Grandpa is Safe because he was STRUCK WITH TERROR FOR HIS LIFE ANOTHER CRIME ON THE BORDER OF TEXAS @GregAbbott_TX @realDonaldTrump."

"Abusing the elderly, robbing from them, and extreme TERRORIZING MUST END #SecureTexasBorder @TxDPS @GregAbbott_TX @DanPatrick #RGV"

After Cassie tweeted to one of her followers Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Abbott finally responded two hours later.

Just fyi that Church's Chicken is eight miles north of Mexican border where the victim was born in Reynosa. Cassie here lives in McAllen which is only eight miles north of Church's Chicken. This did not happen right at the border.

After all this tweeting Valley Central news did an article about the robbery. From the article which is linked below,

"Philip Ethridge, an associate professor at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley who studies crime and border security, said he doubted the robbery had any nexus to border security.

"If this had happened in any other city — I hate to say this — it would have been just a routine crime that police take reports on every day," Ethridge said, adding that not every crime near the border is actually a matter of border security.

State Rep. Terry Canales, D-Edinburg, said the tweet reflects the thinking behind Texas' border security push.

The Texas Department of Public Safety wants millions for border security, but can't produce a coherent plan or justify the millions already spent, Canales said. Data released by the Department of Public Safety shows few drug busts but many traffic citations."

"I can say this about the governor: He's the first governor that's actually paid attention to the Rio Grande Valley," Canales said. "He's made more visits. He seems to be truly concerned about the Rio Grande Valley."

However, a robbery at Church's Chicken in McAllen isn't a border security problem, Canales said.
"I would go out on a limb and say somebody was held up at gunpoint in Houston last night," Canales said. "Is he coming to Houston's rescue?"

Crime data reported to the FBI shows the stark difference between McAllen and Houston.
From January to June 2016, McAllen had 31 robberies — 22 per 100,000 people, according to FBI Uniform Crime Report data. Houston had 209 robberies per 100,000 people.

For some Republicans, the border is just a pawn in a larger game, Canales said, adding that hyping border security is big business.

"And in order to do that, you have to make people believe that this place is something it's not," Canales said." Dave Hendricks

But there is much more to the story. You see Cassie's entire family is Mexican including her grandfather. Homero Guzman. Homero was born in April 21, 1936 in Reynosa, Mexico. As far as I can tell I see no naturalization papers. I requested that information from Cassandra but she did not reply. Below is Cassandra's family tree.

Cassandra Leeann Luevano, Cassie Luevano, GOP employee, mcallen, hidalgo, texas, governor, greg abbott, illegal immigrant, undocumented immigrant, politics, republica, homero guzman, azeneht lesama, micaela salazar, campaign, Church's chicken, robbery, border security
Cassandra's grandparents on her mother's side appear to be born in Mexico. I don't see naturalization papers for them. All of her great grandparents were born in Mexico. Only a couple may have become "legal immigrants," aka documented, naturalized immigrants.

Her great grandmother Maria De La Paz Romero Salazar was born in Mexico but died in Texas. She was a Mexican citizen without papers. In Cassie's eyes that makes her an "illegal" which makes her a very bad mujer, a criminal, someone to be detested and tweeted about in disgust, someone to tweet, report to ICE about, someone to be ripped out of their home at night, shackled, thrown in a dog kennel with no food, water, lawyer and deported to Mexico without any money, ID, phone, possessions?

Below is Cassie who is 100% Mexican who thinks all other Mexicans on the other side of the border eight miles away in this case just across a bridge are "illegal," "criminals," "refugees," which we should all revile. In this case her grandpa is from Reynosa, Mexico right on the border. If it turns out he doesn't have papers, shouldn't she turn him in to ICE if she really feels "illegals" are bad hombres? The hypocrisy in this young woman being used for political purposes is just too much.

Death: Jul. 24, 2016

Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Davis was born in Los Angeles, California on June 6, 1975. Her father was Jay Emerson Davis (1940). Her mother was Judith "Judy" Ann Childress (1942-1996). Her sister was Kelly Davis.

Betsy mercifully passed away on her own terms surrounded by her loving family and friends in her home in Ojai, California after two days of celebration of her life.

"The California multi-media and performance artist Betsy Davis was among the first people to end her life last month under the state’s new doctor-assisted dying law. The 41-year-old, who was diagnosed three years ago with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, planned a two-day party on 23-23 July for her friends and family, who gathered at her home in Ojai, California to say goodbye."

"More than 30 guests came from across the country for the event, which included music, pizza and tamales, and a screening of Davis’s favourite film, The Dance of Reality, by the Chilean-French director Alejandro Jodorowsky. “Under her guidance, I’d put sticky notes next to items around the house, explaining their significance,” Davis’s sister Kelly wrote of the experience this week. “She invited everyone to ‘take a Betsy souvenir’ to remember her.”

Kelly stated “My sister is an example of exactly what the law intended to do: allow a dying young woman the ability to assert control over the chaos and uncertainty of terminal illness,” Kelly Davis wrote. “She turned death into a reason to celebrate, and she was there to enjoy the party.”

Betsy graduated from Art Center College of Design with a Bachelors in Fine Art. She also graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Masters in Art.

Betsy was a recipient of the Scotland Saltire Scholarship, 2011; Getty Center, artist grant: "Movement and the Visual Arts", 2006; Art Center College of Design, award for honors, 1996-2000; and Award for independent study abroad (Milan, Italy), Art Center College of Design, 1999.

Betsy was a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, UK 2011, Art Center College, Pasadena, CA 2006, Parson's School of Design, New York City 2005, UCLA School of Fine Art, Los Angeles, CA 2004 and USC School of Fine Art, Los Angeles, CA 2004.

Betsy had solo exhibitions at the Bank Gallery, Los Angeles, CA 2004, 2005 and the Haus Gallery, Los Angeles, CA 2003. She had group exhibitions at National Museum of Scotland 2012, InSpace Gallery, Scotland, Craftswoman Gallery, Pasadena, CA, Huffington Post, Conflux Digital Arts Festival, New York, St Cecilia's Convent, New York, Meridian Gallery, California, The Getty Museum, California and many others. Her artist user name was "Queen Of Plastics" which is the name of her artist website.

Betsy is predeceased by her mother Judith "Judy" Ann Childress Davis who died of breast cancer in 1996. Betsy is survived by her father Jay and sister Kelly in San Diego.

Esteban Nunez released from prison early because of favor by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger his dad Fabian Nunez's friend

Esteven nunez, steven, steve, fabian nunez, governor, arnold schwarzenegger, prison, murder, criminal, convicted, luis santos, justice
Per the Times "the son of a former California state Assembly speaker Nunez has been freed from prison after his manslaughter sentence was dramatically reduced in 2011 by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, prison officials said Sunday. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said Esteban Nuñez (real name Estevan Armondo Nunez), now 27 (date of birth January 21, 1989), will live in Sacramento County on parole supervision for three years."

I wrote an article years ago when Esteban Nunez was first charged with the crimes which somehow vanished. I just found the photos from the article. They are from Esteban Nunez's MySpace page in their original format with original date. They have not been altered in any way.

"Nuñez entered prison in June 2010 to serve a 16-year sentence in the stabbing death of college student Luis Santos in San Diego.

On his last day in office in 2011, Schwarzenegger commuted the sentence to seven years. Nuñez is the son of Fabian Nuñez, who was speaker of the state Assembly and a political ally while Schwarzenegger was governor.

Esteban Nuñez received credit for good behavior and was released after serving less than six years.

“Our son has paid his debt to society. He is committed to continuing the work of healing, self-reflection and spiritual growth,” the Nuñez family said in a statement released Friday."

I quoted that so no one will think I was not fair. That said Esteban Nunez did not pay his debt to society. He intentionally killed someone with his buds. He was just using a knife while underage drinking alcohol like he did so many times before and bragging about it online.

Below is Esteban Nunez's "Write a Prisoner" profile. This was his profile as of February 16, 2016 a month before he was released. I don't see any "spiritual growth" here. This boy needs to go back to prison. Here is Esteban whining about prison,

He's looking for a young woman to "help me pass the remainder of my time in this dreadful and tedious place. I am interested in writing someone who shares similar interests as myself, someone who will listen to me and accompany me in this lonesome place."

The victim wishes he could be so lonesome. The mother wishes her dead child could be so lonesome in prison instead of dead and gone. Esteban Nunez has not changed and never will. He's a spoiled brat.

Here's the thumbnail of the pic. This is his profile based on links, prisoner number, site.

Esteban writes,

"My name is Esteban. I am a 25yearold
man who’s decided to give this whole internet introduction thing a chance at meeting new interesting young women. I am not looking for any serious type of relationship nor am I looking for any type of financial support. I am looking for a simple friendship, someone to correspond with, get to know, and someone to help me pass the remainder of my time in this dreadful and tedious place. I am interested
in writing someone who shares similar interests as myself, someone who will listen to me
and accompany me in this lonesome place.

While incarcerated I’ve learned a lot about myself and have found much comfort in who I
am as an individual, in doing so it has helped me learn what I aspire to become and what I
wish to accomplish in my life. But I’m not going to continue on and on about myself, I’m not
on here to tell the world about myself, in fact I’m more of a to myself type of person which is
why I’ve been hesitant to this whole internet thing. I’m on here to get to know some
interesting and easygoing people. I am a whole hearted, grounded, optimistic, and smart
young man. I am also very family oriented although I have no kids. I am very close to my
immediate family. So if you are interested in telling me about yourself and want to know
more about me, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Yet either way, stay safe and be
sure to love yourself for the unique individual that you are.
Sincerely,
Esteban"

Call to action real estate appraisers in California - Mary Cummins

SUBJECT: Call To Action

It’s BAD!  In fact it does not get any WORSE! Please, get mad, take action, write Governor Jerry Brown… RIGHT NOW!  This Bill is on his desk.

Governor Brown… please VETO SB706

Excerpt from SB 706:

SEC. 35. Section 11317.2 is added to the Business and Professions Code, to read:
11317.2. (a) In addition to publishing the summary required by Section 11317, the office shall provide on the Internet information regarding the status of every license and registration issued by the office in accordance with the California Public Records Act (Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 6250) of Division 7 of Title 1 of the Government Code) and the Information Practices Act of 1977 (Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 1798) of Title 1.8 of Part 4 of Division 3 of the Civil Code). The public information to be provided on the Internet shall include information on suspensions and revocations of licenses and registrations issued by the office and accusations filed pursuant to the Administrative Procedure Act (Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code) relative to persons or businesses subject to licensure, registration, or regulation by the office.
________________________________________________________________________

Below are some things you can say…  but please, don’t cut and paste the entire thing. Pick one of two or ideas or better yet, write you own comments. The facts are simple. If someone accused you of something and you had no chance to defend yourself, and no opportunity to confront your accuser, you would be smeared in PUBLIC.  How do you feel about that? Your reputation, all those years of hard work, down the drain
________________________________________________________________

·         The OREA website currently publishes information on suspensions and revocations (or surrenders) of licenses, following the direction and example of the federal Appraisal Subcommittee. The public is being protected now!

·         The National Registry of the Appraisal Subcommittee only lists revocations, voluntary surrenders, and suspensions of appraisal licensees, AFTER an adjudicative hearing has been completed in the jurisdiction where a violation has occurred.  This makes sense!

·         SB 706 adds “…accusations filed pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act” to the items that must be listed by OREA. Very bad public policy. This is why we  “don’t yell Fire in a Theater." It destroys people.

·         The addition of accusations to the items to be listed fails to recognize the uniqueness of the appraisal profession, as compared to other professions regulated under the Department of Consumer Affairs.

·         Even the slightest hint of unfounded disciplinary action against an appraisal licensee can be the “kiss of death” to the appraiser’s business; it is equivalent to license revocation. So you destroy someone on a whim. Bad idea!

·         Publishing accusations against appraisers on the Internet prior to a hearing before an Administrative Law Judge may constitute a violation of  the appraisal licensee’s due process rights. Important in this country!

Take action now. Tell your appraiser friends. This is important.

Governor Brown VETO SB 706… please!

SB 760. Please take action immediately. Email, FAX or Call Governor Brown. Ask him to VETO SB760… this is the bill that requires “accusations” to be posted on the OREA website. So, if someone gets mad at you and accuses you of something – right or wrong – it goes public. This is bad public policy. Your reputation, the one you have spent years developing, is down the drain.
