Joseph James Pappas II was born February 9, 1956 in Harris County, Texas. His mother was Julia Alice Walker September 25, 1927, New York, April 2, 1997, Houston, Harris Texas. She allegedly died in surgery while Dr. Mark Hausknecht operated on her. Joseph Pappas' father was Joseph James Pappas Sr. June 23 1917, Houston, Texas, March 16, 2010, Houston, Texas.

Joseph Pappas is a Houston real estate agent and former deputy constable suspected in the daytime shooting of a cardiologist in the Texas Medical Center last month apparently tried selling a cache of weapons online days after the killing.

"A seller using the same phone number as the alleged killer posted listings for two tactical vests, a Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver, a $4,500 semi-automatic FN rifle, two sets of ballistic door panels for a Crown Victoria and a box of ammunition - items totaling thousands of dollars."

JOSEPH JAMES PAPPAS, 92, died peacefully, March 16, 2010, in Houston, Texas, at M.D. Anderson Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with CLL. He was born in Ft. Worth, Tx. June 23, 1917 to the late James A. (Pappadakis) Pappas and Mary A. Passalaqua.His family moved to Houston in 1932. He was in ROTC in Ft. Worth before moving and continued in ROTC at old Sam Houston High School, the beginning of his long Military Career. He graduated from Sam Houston High School and soon entered South Texas School of Law. He entered the Texas Defense Guard then delayed law school when he enlisted in the US Army, September 1941. He excelled in the Army, receiving numerous awards and accommodations. One of his later awards was the General John J. Pershing Award for high academic averages, award by the US Army Command and General Staff College. He was promoted and held every available rank but one, from private to Colonel, retiring from the Army Reserves, 75th MAC, in the mid 1970's. He took great pride in his military career and held many varied positions including tank destroyers branch, signal corps and civil affairs among others.Shortly after the war he received his law degree from South Texas College of Law and was a licensed attorney for the rest of his life. He soon entered law enforcement holding a number of positions in Harris County, including Chief Deputy, Precinct 2, Harris County for a number of years. He stayed active in law enforcement for the rest of his life and maintained closes ties to many in the law enforcement community.After leaving Precinct 2, in the late 50's, he opened his law office and continued his law practice until the early 90's, deciding to semi retire. In the early 60's he also started a residential home building company, building homes in Westbury, Meyerland, Maplewood areas for a number of years.For most of his adult life Joe was very active in the local democratic party, having served as party treasurer for a numbers of years and precinct chairman for many years. He was also a member of the Greek Orthodox Church, AHEPA, and other Greek organizations, the MOAA, ROA, local civic club and many other organizations.The most important thing Joe's life was his family. Everything he worked for was for them. Eli was born March 4, 2015 without a nose. His rare condition is called congenital arhinia. He is survived by his mother Brandi Nichole McGlathery, her partner Chris Garcia, biological father Jeremy Finch, brother Brysen, sister Willow Kate, grandfather Barry Jumper, Aunt Amber McGlathery, and many other relatives and friends. Eli was two years old. Brandi initially thought Troy Thompson was the father which is why "Thompson" is listed as Eli's last name on the birth certificate. DNA tests proved Troy was not the father but Jeremy was.

Brandi posted this photo. He died in a hospital at 10:40 p.m. on June 3. This is a very sad situation. After she posted this she got rid of Eli's Facebook page.

I have a feeling there will be more to this sad story. Brandi lost custody of her baby for a while after she left him at her then alleged grandparents' house. There were allegations of drug use, abuse and child abandonment. The mother Brandi posted this.

This is one of the most up close, personal, & brutally honest posts I (Eli's mommy) have ever made. Please, keep all criticism to yourself at this point, as my heart can't handle anymore attacks thatn it's already been dealt this week. In June of 2014, Troy Thompson & I split up. After finding out he had been involved with someone else, I ran back to my ex, Jeremy Finch. I was emotionally torn, & made a mistake based on a momentary lapse of judgement. I was young, I was irrational, & I’m only human. Although Troy has a different story, both guys knew about my pregnancy. They knew about each other. Troy blocked me on Facebook, Instagram, & my phone number for the duration of my pregnancy. He never provided anything for Eli, although his family did help some. When I was in labor with Eli, Troy came to the hospital. He CHOSE to be in the delivery room, he CHOSE to cut the umbilical cord, he CHOSE to have his family there with him. Once we realized that Eli was born without a nose, Troy was there every second he could be. During our 4 week stay in the NICU, his family became very active in Eli’s medical training. A DNA test was never mentioned. Now, I made sure to give Eli my last name & leave the father unlisted on his birth certificate, because I did not want to be the type of “baby mama” that forces a child onto someone. On March 26, 2015, just 22 days after Eli’s birth, Troy came to me & asked to change Eli’s last name to Thompson. I asked if he wanted to do a DNA test first & his response was “I don’t need one, that’s my son.” & So, we filed to have his birth certificate amended. A few months down the road, Troy & I fell apart. His mother threw me, Eli, & Brysen on the streets. I was mad, heartbroken, & numb. I felt like my whole world had stopped. Troy was mean & hateful to me, & completely shunned Eli for the next month & a half. He was rushed back to the ER one night when he had stopped breathing. Troy showed up at the hospital, but instead of being there for Eli, he focused his attention on attacking & demeaning me. I asked him to leave, & he told me he didn’t have to because he was the father. Out of hurt & anger I reminded him that we didn’t know that for sure. So, without me knowing, he had an at home DNA test done, while his father & stepmom were babysitting on August 20. About a week later, I find out, via Troy’s facebook, that the DNA test showed that Troy was not Eli’s biological father. That was the last time I spoke to Troy. He has not asked to see, check up on, or provide for Eli since then. He completely walked away. I don’t blame him at all, & I know he was, & probably still is, hurting from it. I understand why he walked away. His father & stepmom came to me about a week later & told me that they loved Eli & wished to still be in his life. I had an overwhelming fear that nobody else would accept my baby as their grandson, so I allowed them to do so. Since then, they have babysat Eli on the weekends for me while I work. During this time, Jeremy Finch agreed to a DNA test, which came back saying that he was in fact Eli’s father. Now, for the past month, I have felt extremely uneasy about Troy’s stepmom & father keeping Eli. His stepmom, Sharon, was becoming eerily attached to Eli & his “fame”. I can’t explain it exactly, all I can say is, my gut told me something wasn’t right. I then found out something about her, that I will chose not to publicize, that made me cease all visits & communication. I removed all of Eli’s things from her home & let her know that I wouldn’t be allowing her to keep Eli anymore, & I explained why. Well, this past Monday, DHR showed up at my door, with Sharon, & told me they were placing my son with her for 90 days while they conducted an investigation. When I asked what their grounds were, the caseworker could not answer me. Tuesday morning, I showed up at his office with valid evidence, & tons of questions. Finally he told me that the accusations made against me were as follows: I have a drug habit, & I leave Eli with people who are not medically qualified to manage a trach. I explained to him my concerns of him being at Sharon’s house, & he made arrangements for Eli to be placed with a biological family member that I trusted. He called Sharon to let her know that I would be coming to pick up Eli, & she rushed to get a letter from Eli’s ENT stating how medically fragile he was & how he didn’t need to be with anyone that he wasn’t comfortable with. By the time that fiasco was sorted out, it was too late to pick him up. So at 8am this morning, I was at DHR, agreeing to a DNA test, or whatever it took to get my baby home. I was told if I passed my drug screen, I could bring my son home. I passed it, & they told me to go pickup Eli & we could put this whole thing behind us. Again, he called Sharon to let her know to gather Eli’s things because I was coming to get him. She then ended the conversation with the caseworker & pulled strings with the lawyers she knows, & somehow managed to file a petition for emergency temporary custody (based on the fact that Eli is medically fragile), have it signed off on, & a hearing set, all within an hour. Then proceeded to rub it in my face, like a child. Now, our hearing is set for 9 am in the morning. I don’t know how an unbiological relative could do this, especially after me clearing my name of all accusations, but she has friends in high places, so I’m assuming that’s it. Eli is my entire world, so I am asking for all prayers & any words of kindness. If anyone would care to write a letter to the Judge overseeing our case, please feel free to email it to me at momofamiracle0304@gmail.com. At one point I truly believed Sharon loved my son, but now I truly believe it is only because she is obsessed with having a “famous grandson”, who coincidently has a $72,000 gofundme account. Please, prayers & good vibes only. My heart doesn’t know how to beat without Eli."

It's been a LONG road, but we have come a LONG way, my baby. I made mistakes, I had short comings, & I still have days where I get so overwhelmed with you, your brother & sister that I wanna curl up and cry, but I have found myself in you. She just posted this. Your baby just died and you're most upset about family members sharing old photos of him and saying they're upset? Something is not right here. Why would she care if other people post that they're sad? Only birth mothers can be sad?

I shouldn't have to make this post, but leave it to crap news articles and people seeking attention to make it necessary to do so.
Eli was loved by so many. He touched the entire world. I am forever grateful for that. However, there are some, that have taken it upon themselves to share pictures and make posts, knowing full well they LEFT Eli's life after being allowed the opportunity to stay, because they had issues with me. Well, sorry but I believe that if you loved HIM, you would have cast aside your distain for me. Furthermore, these people are the same ones who have spent the past 2 years bashing me on social media, attempting to rip Eli from my home, and belittle me. They know who they are, so to you I say this:
You have every right to be sad. To hurt. To cry. To wish you had seen him more. What you do NOT have the right to do, is act as if you are hurting more than those who have been constant in his life. And in case you forgot, the only ones who have been in his life from his first breath to his last, are me & my family. God, yes, pray for everyone that loved him. Pray for his father. His siblings. His support system. We are ALL devastated. But in the midst of sharing the last photos you took while in his life, over a year ago, and posting "pray for the Finch family", maybe have some compassion & add his mother. I can assure you, nobody feels what I am feeling. I carried him. I birthed him. No bond could compare. This is not to take away from anyone in his life, as you took away from me, it is merely a reminder that, like it or not, I will always be his mother & it is high time you start acknowledging that.

Whatever the case it's very sad all the way around. I don't know the specifics of Eli's issues but other babies born with no nose recently have survived. I'm not rushing to judgment. I'm just posting some facts.

Jay Kordich, known by millions as the "Juiceman" and the "Father of Juicing," left this realm peacefully in his sleep from natural causes on May 27, 2017. John Kordich was born in 1923 in San Pedro, California to Yugoslavian parents. He graduated from San Pedro High School Class of '41. He was on the Student Council, Lettermen's Club, Track and Football teams. His nicknames were "Johnny" and "Rash." He went to Compton Junior College then graduated from USC in 1951. He played on the USC Football Team in 1948 as an Reserve Running Back. Jay's entire life was filled with a passion for teaching the power of juicing to all who would listen. Adored by all, Jay was an eternal optimist, and truly was the embodiment of what it means to live life to the fullest. Those of you who've known Jay can agree that no matter the circumstances, he always saw the beauty around him and never lost his sense of wonder. Jay was a true pioneer, delivering a powerfully healing message of juicing to millions of people worldwide through television. Jay is predeceased by his parents, survived by his sisters, Louise Mary (Jay) Fletcher, Annie Winifred (Robert) McGee, current wife of 36 years, Linda, and their two sons, John and Jayson. Jay was 93 years old.

His wife came to the US November 28, 1922 at New York. They were married November 6, 1920 in Vis, Yugoslavia. The original last name was Kordic. Jack came to the US via France. His wife came via Germany.

She was known for her recipes such as "good ass chicken" and "something sweet for the kids." She was in the 2016 movie "Barbershop: The Next Cut" and "Bank." She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!" She is predeceased by her parents James Odell and Audrey Mae Odell. Audrey passed away at the age of 85. Service was held August 13, 2011 at Paradise Baptist Church, 5100 S. Broadway, Los Angeles, California. Interment was at Inglewood Park Cemetery.

Back in 2015 I emailed her saying she should consider doing cooking shows with healthier foods that are still affordable. I emailed her saying this food could kill her family. She did not reply Sad to say back in 2015, 2016 she was having major health problems. Her doctors told her to never eat anything fried, greasy, with lard or oily ever again. I didn't realize it at the time. She admitted the doctors told her that and she refused to listen to their advice. That means this was basically a suicide. People would have loved her even more if she listened to her doctors and made healthier food. She probably would have gained a bigger audience. Such a sad and senseless loss. You don't need lard and oil to have a well liked cooking show or a loving Auntie and family. People loved Felicia not the lard and oil.

Here is video of Auntie Fee talking about her health problems. She stated doctors told her not to eat anything fried or greasy. She's eating nacho cheese sauce. Such a shame. Her mother suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes. For some reason Felicia would tell people her father lived to 95, 99. He died at 65. Her mother died at 85. Felicia said "Lard is the Lord," "I'm marry lard." This is probably what contributed to her death. A shame which could have been prevented.

"Two alleged gang members were charged Tuesday with the murder of a 19-year-old Marine from Camp Pendleton, who was found shot inside his vehicle in South Los Angeles nearly two months ago.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gustavo N. Sztraicher ordered Oscar Aguilar, 26, to remain jailed in lieu of $4.2 million bail, and co-defendant Esau Rios, 28, to be held on $3 million bail while awaiting arraignment Nov. 30 in connection with the Sept. 16 shooting of Lance Cpl. Carlos Segovia-Lopez.

The criminal complaint alleges that Aguilar personally and intentionally discharged a handgun, and that the killing was committed in association with or for the benefit of a criminal street gang.

Aguilar — who allegedly has a string of prior convictions — is additionally charged with one count each of possession of a firearm by a felon and dissuading a witness by force or threat.

Segovia-Lopez was on leave from Camp Pendleton in San Diego County when he allegedly exchanged words with the defendants on Sept. 16, according to Los Angeles County prosecutors.

He was found shortly after 11:30 that night, covered in blood and slumped over the steering wheel of a Dodge Charger in the 2100 block of 31st Street. He was taken off life support three days later after doctors informed the family that he could not be saved."

Previously there was a different photo posted above. It came from newspaper articles about Carlos Seogiva Lopez identifying that photo as him. I thought it looked a little different but major newspapers had posted it so I trusted them. That was not Carlos. I have changed the photo.

Per his Facebook page he was born in San Miguel, El Salvador. He attended James A. Foshay Learning Center K-12 and Foshay High School both in Los Angeles. He volunteered with USC Troy Camp for kids who released this statement. He was originally a young camper with USC Troy Camp. When he was older he volunteered at the camp. Another fundraiser is here. His nickname was "Hedgehog." Carlos used to stay with LA Cloud9 Teen President Claudia Perez when he was in LA. She is updating her page with news about Carlos. Here is a video with Carlos' LA Cloud9 Teen volunteer program. They rap about helping the homeless. Carlos is on the right. Here is a video of Carlos telling kids not to drop out of school.

His mother is Sandra Lopez born in El Salvador. Carlos and his mother are both US citizens. His father is most likely Martin Segovia Coto who still lives in El Salvador. He has a sister named Cindy Reyes.

U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Carlos Segovia Lopez from Camp Pendelton, California was shot by an unknown assailant. He was found at 11:35 p.m. Friday, September 16th, slumped over and unconscious in a Dodge Charger. He was killed at the 2100 block of 31st Street near St Andrews Pl. Carlos Segovia was taken off life support and died September 19th at 8 p.m. at California Hospital Medical Center.

He left the military base near San Diego on Friday and had just visited his girlfriend that night and was preparing to drive to the home of a family friend, when he struck by gunfire.

During his short time in the Marines, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Certificate of Commendation.

Corporal Carlo Segoviaz worked with LA on Cloud9, helping to develop the Teen Project program and supporting the homeless community through Street Team Soldiers, according to the organization.

UPDATE: 06/02/2016 The medical examiner stated the cause of death of Prince Rogers Nelson is accidentally self-administered fentanyl overdose. He was 5'3" 112 lbs. Sad.

"Fentanyl, prescribed by doctors for cancer treatment, can be made illicitly and is blamed for a spike in overdose deaths in the United States. It's 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin and 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration."

UPDATE: 04/26/2016 Prince's sister Tyka just filed docs stating Prince had no will. Tyka lists his living siblings. "Tyka lists the people who are potential beneficiaries ... all of whom are half brothers and sisters. They are John, Norrine, Sharon, Alfred and Omarr. They are all living siblings of Prince. She also says she's an heir entitled to her cut."

Prince Rogers Nelson born June 7, 1958, died April 21, 2016 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prince may have died without a will also called intestate. Based on the laws of Minnesota his estate would go to his current wife, parents and siblings. As he was currently married, his parents are dead that leaves his estate to his brothers and sisters. If a sibling is dead, that portion would be divided upon that person's children if any. Here are a list of all of Princes full and half siblings.

He has one full sister Tyka Evene Nelson May 18, 1960. He has seven other half siblings. Two of them are dead Lorna Lee Nelson and Duane Joseph Nelson. This leaves six living siblings, half siblings to share the estate along with any children of the deceased siblings.
