No Kings Protest in Los Angeles California, City Hall, Grand Park by Mary Cummins

Mary Cummins No Kings protest Los Angeles LA City Hall 2026 #marycummins #losangeles

The No Kings protest in Los Angeles took place at LA City Hall and Gloria Molina Grand Park on March 28, 2026. There were a total of over 8,000,000 people at all of the No Kings protests throughout the nation. The protest was positive and peaceful when I was there from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. I took the bus because I knew the freeway on/off ramps would be closed and parking is always impossible.

The musical group Los Jornaleros del Norte @JornalerosDelNorte http://losjornalerosdelnorte.com/ were there performing their protest songs like Cumbia de la Migra and some crowd favorites like Llorar y Llorar. There were also mariachis, Dandidi the Harlequin of Liberty and an art exhibit about people killed in ICE custody or during ICE raids. Lots of street vendors and people asking you to sign petitions. Also present were CEOTAX.la, Black Lives Matter, the event organizers 50501, SEIU 2015 and a plane flying around City Hall with a banner that said "NOT A KING - HE'S YOUR DADDY!"

Dandidi the Harlequin of Libery, Mary Cummins. He's 6'6" which makes me look short at 5'8".

No Kings Protest Los Angeles City Hall, Pershing Square by Mary Cummins

No Kings Protest June 14, 2025 at Los Angeles City Hall. We later marched to Pershing Square and back. It was a peaceful protest with speakers, singing, dancing and love. I saw no illegal acts or scuffles. People were leaving flowers at the feet of National Guard.
