The Huntington is a Museum, Library and Botanical Garden in San Marino, California. It's so huge you should really visit it over a few days. Take advantage of the free museum days and you can see most museums in California. These are just some photos of the gardens taken March before the flowers started blooming.

Andrew Baldini arrested for animal cruelty for killing a skunk with a shovel has previous criminal history, case info

Andrew Louis Baldini, Bloomington Indiana criminal cruelty to animals skunk, killer, shovel beat to death 53C09-1611-CM-002780 mephitis striped skunk murder animal cruelty

UPDATE: 12/26/16 This is upsetting. On 12/06/16 there was conditional dismissal of charges. They put him in ANOTHER diversion program. He was currently in one for his previous crime. Money talks. The terms aren't shown but he's probably on probation for two years. If he doesn't commit yet another crime, the charges will be fully dismissed. That is just my guess because that is what they did the last time he committed a crime. I wonder what crime he will commit next.

Indiana University student Andrew Baldini, Andrew Louis Baldini born January 21, 1998 was arrested for beating a skunk to death with a shovel for no reason.

"Indiana University Police arrested him after he reportedly chased a skunk and beat it to death in front of T.I.S. College Bookstore Friday night. Police arrested 18-year-old Andrew L. Baldini, of Carmel, who is an associate member of a nearby fraternity, on a charge of animal cruelty."

The closest fraternity to the bookstore is Lambda Chi Alpha 1210 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47406. I'm not positive this is the fraternity where he was a member. I will call and ask. He was an "associate member" which I believe means he's running to join the fraternity but he's a freshman. They just built a new basketball court in 2015 which faces the street next to the bookstore.

I think Andrew's father is Mike Baldini of Polaris Property Management, Linda Baskall Bandini is his mother and he has a brother Nick. Here is his Facebook page which matches name, birth date, location https://www.facebook.com/andrew.baldini

His preliminary hearing was November 4, 2016. He's out on bond. We will update this page with his next hearing.

Turns out this kid was on probation for another crime. They previously put him in a diversion program. His probation isn't up until 05/2017. Before that crime he was arrested for criminal speeding. That is generally speed over 80 mph, reckless driving. Three crimes in less than two years.

KROQ DJ Scott Cary Mason born September 26, 1959 died April 19, 2015. Boy Scout leader, radio engineer, dj, animal lover, Animal Advocates

Scott Mason, Scott C Mason, Scott cary mason, dj, kroq, radio, los angeles, california, engineer

Scott Cary Mason September 26, 1959 to April 19, 2015, 56 years old. Mason was a real nice guy. He had our organization on his radio show at least three times. He'd interview animal organizations early on Sunday mornings. He allowed me to post the audio of the interviews. They are below.

"Scott Mason, KROQ Chief Engineer and familymember of over 35 years, passed away Sunday morning.

It’s hard to assemble the words to express just how much Scott meant to KROQ, our family and radio in general.Known to long-time KROQ listeners as Spacin’ Scott Mason, Scott was one of the reasons the station is what it is today.

Scott started in radio at the young age of 14. After honing his skills at various Southern California stations, a young Mr. Mason was hired to run KROQ-FM way back in 1979. Rick Carroll, the station’s program director, hired Scott to be a weekend DJ and Chief Engineer while he was still a teenager. Since that time Scott has worked every airshift on KROQ at one time or another. Scott was even an original host of Loveline with The Poorman, and Dr. Drew.

Over time, the station grew and so did Scott’s responsibilities. With KROQ eventually purchased by CBS, Scott ended up overseeing all things technical for our West Coast stations; and we have quite a few.

But Scott wasn’t just a DJ and engineer. Scott was a founding father to one of America’s greatest radio stations. He ate, slept and breathed KROQ.

Hiring interns was just one his many duties. And, like quite a few, I owe my career to Scott. Scott didn’t care about flash or glitz. He was at KROQ to make it the best radio station he could and he welcomed those with equal passion.

Scott was thoughtful and caring, always willing to go out of his way to help anyone in need, which he did frequently. His love of public service turned into Openline, a syndicated weekend show dedicated to serving the Los Angeles and Orange County communities. Scott was even a Boy Scout leader.
We, the KROQ family, and radio fans everywhere, owe Scott a great debt."

Hate speech verses freedom of speech - Mary Cummins, Animal Advocates, Los Angeles, California

Hate speech verses free speech, differences, verses, Mary Cummins, Los Angeles, California
There is a huge difference between hate speech and freedom of speech. Hate speech is speech that offends, threatens, or insults groups, based on race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or other traits. Freedom of speech is the political right to communicate, express one's opinions and ideas.

Hate speech has been legally defined as "speech that poses an imminent danger of unlawful action, where the speaker has the intention to incite such action and there is the likelihood that this will be the consequence of his or her speech, may be restricted and punished by that law." In legal cases hate speech has been equated to discrimination, harassment, hostile work place environment, fraud...

Freedom of speech as per the First Amendment to the Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Although the vast majority of speech is protected under the First Amendment, there are some important exceptions, which means that certain types of speech may be restricted by the government and civil actions may be based upon them.

The main exceptions to free speech protection include:

Defamation (includes libel and slander): discussed in greater depth below.

Obscenity: The Supreme Court test for obscenity is as follows: (a) whether the average person, applying contemporary community standards, would find that the work, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest; (b) whether the work depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, sexual conduct specifically defined by the applicable state law; and (c) whether the work, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value.

Fighting words: As defined by the Supreme Court, fighting words are "those which by their very utterance inflict injury or tend to incite an immediate breach of the peace."

Causing panic: The classic example of speech causing panic is someone yelling "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater. Speech may be suppressed where a reasonable person would know that his speech is likely to cause panic and/or harm to others.

Incitement to crime: Speech that spurs another to commit a crime.

Sedition: Speech that advocates unlawful conduct against the government or the violent overthrow of the government.

Another exception is lying. While it's legal to lie it is not legal to lie with the purpose to cheat, steal or harm someone. If someone were to do that, they could be sued in civil court.

Hate speech is protected by the First Amendment right to free speech. Unless a particular instance of hate speech falls under one of the exceptions to free speech listed above, it cannot be constitutionally suppressed by the government. While it cannot be constitutionally suppressed by the government, you can still be sued in civil court if there are damages.

Angelyne L Lyne, Angelyne - Los Angeles "celebrity," real name, birth date, age - Mary Cummins

Angelyne, Angelyne L Lyne, celebrity, billboard, sunset, age, birth date
UPDATE 08/03/2017 Angelyne responds. She admits some of it is true though she says some names and dates are wrong. I never really heard her talk before. She's as dumb as Donald Trump and barely knows the meaning of very basic words. She keeps saying she is a YUGE celebrity and everyone just wants to hang on her. She said she brings beauty to the world with her presence. She's delusional. Below is audio of her reply so you can hear her voice.

08/02/2017 Someone may have cracked the case. I'll try to confirm. It appears Angelyne may be a Jewish Polish immigrant. Her parents met in a Jewish ghetto. She was born in Poland in Oct. 2, 1950. Her parents and herself escaped the concentration camps and came to the US. Her real name is Renee Tami Goldberg (originally Ronia Tamar Goldberg). There was a name change in Ventura county in 2016. Why so late? Why in Ventura, just because it's not LA? Could this be real? It's real. I just confirmed all the data in the article.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/angelyne-la-billboard-diva-30-years-1025678

Her father was Henry Goldberg born May 2, 1920 (May 5, 1920) in Pinsk, Poland, died November 7, 2004 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother was Bronis (Bronia) Zernicka born January 2, 1921 in Chmelnik, Poland, died January 10, 1965 from cancer in Los Angeles, California. She has two sisters, Annette and Egnia both born in Israel. Angelyne married Michael Alan Strauss born 1949 in 1964 and divorced in 1968. Angelyne is 66 years old. I knew she was older than the 1957 birth date which she admitted to long ago. After that she said she was born in 1973!

Here is her name change in Ventura County.

Here is her 1967 high school photo.

Here is a scene from a video clip from1970 when she went by Angeline Alyn. It looks like her.

Below is another clip from a 1977 video. It's definitely her.

Below is her name change. I searched for a name change but only searched Los Angeles.

ORIGINAL: Growing up in Los Angeles I first met Angelyne at a night club in 1983. She was easily in her late 30's, probably even 40. She used to hang out at Chez Mois and Voila which were both on the bottom floor, street level of the Beverly Center in the parking structure. I think this was soon after she paid to have herself plastered on a billboard on Sunset Blvd.

When I saw her at the club I asked people who she was. They said she was a nobody "celeb." I later came to find out she sang, did a music video, copyrighted some songs. Over the years I'd see her here and there around town. She would try to park her car on Hollywood or Sunset to sell tshirts or autographs from the trunk of her car. The police made her leave so she then would park in the Home Depot parking lot to sell tshirts and autographs.

Angelyne L Lyne, Angelyne, real age, birth date, birthday

A few times my friends played an innocent joke on her. I wish I videotaped it. We'd just finished a motorcycle ride and were at the market. My friend saw Angelyne. He went to the cash register, grabbed the store intercom and said "Angelyne, your biggest fan is at the checkout. He wants to meet you." Angelyne literally ran to the checkout. We all pretended to be huge fans when we of course were not. She loved it!

Another time my ex-husband was the AGM at the Chevy dealership which was on Fairfax. Angelyne came in and wanted a new corvette around 2005. She started flirting with all the male salespeople and managers. She said if the dealership gave her a new corvette, she would drive it around town which would give the dealership lots of publicity. Keep in mind she was at least 60 at this time wearing her tight mini-skirt, high heels, tons of makeup, big hair...

The guys at the dealership were grossed out. There was no way they'd even give her a discount on a new 'vette. She would harm the image of a corvette, not help it. She finally left the dealership.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angelyne

There's been much speculation about her real name and age. Supposedly her real name is Renee Goldberg and she was born in Idaho. This is what I've uncovered so far. She was most likely born September 1, 1958 at the latest. She could be older than this. I'm taking this from the copyright office. When I met her in 1983 I thought she looked 40. I spoke with a photographer who worked with her and he said she's at least 40 back then. He said she makes everyone airbrush all of her photos to make her thinner and younger. So at the minimum age she is 56. Oddly enough when she got utilities at her last residences she stated she was born in 1973. That would make her younger than me. As she copyrighted a song in 1979, she would have been six at that time. Impossible. Others have also said she was a regular on the Sunset strip in the 1970's. That means she was born around 1950, 1952.

Here's a story about a poor soul who "won" a "date" with Angelyne. I'm sure she took every business card and told them they all won. She really is this terrible.

Ferguson protesters on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Residents, stay home. - Mary Cummins

Last night after the St Louis, Missouri grand jury verdict was read Ferguson protesters made their way to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to protest. Most just laid down on the street and blocked traffic. Some stood with signs demanding "revolution" and the shut down of our government. This is at intersection of Wilshire Blvd and Rodeo Drive in front of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel and Rodeo One. Locals, stay at home if you can especially at night.

*A quick note. Never ever put a stick on a poster to hold it up. You can be arrested for carrying a weapon, i.e. the stick.

**Another quick note. Don't ever mess with Beverly Hills Police Department. They were even harsher than LAPD after the Rodney King riots and we were thankful. You'd have to be a huge idiot to even think of rioting in Beverly Hills. BHPD will protect them. Shop owners have own security with high powered weapons.

How to prevent Google glasses from blocking peripheral vision - Mary Cummins, Animal Advocates

As a motorcycle rider and car driver I don't wear sunglasses that block my peripheral vision. I don't wear sunglasses with thick temples, i.e. the "arms" of glasses. Google glass has the same problem. The temples are solid and wide. That part should be above the line of sight or back where the battery is near the ear.

Google glass blocks peripheral vision becaise of solid wide temples
Based on the chart below there should be no obstruction on the left temple of the glasses. The DMV states that people need peripheral vision to drive. I would think it'd also be a good idea just walking on the street.

Peripheral vision, horizontal, vertical
I see no reason why Google glass can't just relocate the hardware on the temple farther back or higher to get it out of the line of peripheral vision. They can connect it with a wire on the top of the temple.

Mary Cummins Real Estate Appraiser License. OREA is now BREA.

Mary Cummins Real Estate Appraisal License. The Officer of Real Estate Appraisers just became the Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers. I will not be posting my real license online ever again, only this copy. It seems people are stealing copies of licenses and signature files to make false appraisals to commit bank fraud. It hasn't happened to be and I want to keep it that way.
