Steven Kirkland Steven Kirkland is a Democratic candidate for Place 2 judge of the Texas Supreme Court. Kirkland is running in the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on March 6, 2018.

Kirkland is a judge for the Texas 334th District Court in Texas. Kirkland won in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Biography

Steven Kirkland was born in Abilene, Texas, and lives in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1978. He earned a B.A. in history from Rice University in 1982 and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1990. Kirkland’s career experience includes working as senior assistant city attorney with the City of Houston. He helped to develop the Houston Homeless Recovery Court and was recognized with the Government Friend of the Homeless Award in 2006.

R.K. Sandill is a Democratic candidate for Place 4 judge of the Texas Supreme Court. Sandill is running in the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on March 6, 2018. Sandill is the judge of Texas District 127. He was re-elected to a four-year term in 2016.

I personally know how corrupt the 99.9% GOP controlled judicial system truly is. I don't want to see anyone else suffer like I did at the hands of the Texas judicial system. I know for a fact that the Supreme Court of Texas which is 100% GOP rules for big biz, wealthy, government, charter schools over women, poor, POC, LGBTQ. A Texas attorney told me in the court room "I've known this judge for years. He'll sign anything I put in front of him." That Judge did that even though he hadn't signed, filed an oath of office in many years. He was an 84 year old visiting Judge (mandatory retirement age is 75) who had to sign and file an oath of office after he was assigned my case. He never did. That's how corrupt the Texas judicial system is.

Brett Kavanaugh and Ruth Bader Ginsburg and other SCOTUS Justices have some history. In the 1998 case against Clinton Kavanaugh tried to obtain attorney/client privileged documents of Vincent Foster who had just died. "Brett M. Kavanaugh argued the case on behalf of independent counsel Starr. Unfortunately he did not argue it well. He got off to a bad start by telling the court that Mueller and Kirkpatric support his view that the privilege terminates with death." Chief Justice stated "Who?" Kavanaugh then admitted they were merely commentators. Judge replied "Ugh."

Kavanaugh argued that the attorney/client privilege ends when one party dies. Anthony Kennedy's reply to Kavanaugh was "The legal profession might be a little poorer if we adopt the principle you suggest." Justice Ginsburg "chastised Kavanaugh - and Starr - for seeking notes that, she said, they would have no legal authority to obtain had Foster remained alive." Kavanaugh was not able to get the lawyers notes.

ORIGINAL: Brett Kavanaugh, Brett Michael Kavanaugh, was born February 12, 1965 in Washington, D.C. He is an only child. He went to Yale for undergrand and a JD degree. His father is attorney Everett Edward Kavanaugh Jr born June 9, 1941 in New Haven, Connecticut. He was the President of Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association for 20 years. He got a ticket for reckless driving in 1962 at the age of 21 in New Haven, Connecticut and was fined $35. His mother is Martha Gamble Murphy Kavanaugh born September 23, 1941 in Newark, New Jersey. She was a high school teacher in Washington. She then became a lawyer and then a Maryland State Circuit Judge.

Brett Kavanaugh married Ashley Jean Estes in ~~2010~~ 2004. 2010 is Ashley's brother's marriage. Ashley was born November 4, 1974 in Lubbock, Texas daughter of John Emmanuel Estes and Nancy Kay Neilon. Together Brett and Ashley have two children, Elizabeth "Liz" and Margaret.

Brett's paternal grandfather was Everett Edward Kavanaugh Sr. b. May 17 1905 d. January 2, 1978. He attended Yale and was a member of the S.S.S. Society and Theta XI. He was a district commercial manager of the Southern New England Telephone Company. Brett's paternal grandmother was Marion Elizabeth Gallagher b. May 4, 1913 d. May 1, 1988.

Brett's maternal grandfather was Thomas William Murphy b. October 14, 1913 d. May 16, 1988. Below is his obituary.

"THOMAS WILLIAM MURPHY JR. D.C. Psychiatrist. Thomas William Murphy Jr., 74, a Washington psychiatrist, died of pneumonia May 16 at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Murphy, who lived in Washington, was born in Newark, N.J. He graduated from Georgetown University and Georgetown medical school. During World War II he was a medical officer aboard a destroyer in the Pacific, and he was discharged as a lieutenant commander. He opened a private practice in psychiatry here after the war, and continued to practice until his death. Dr. Murphy was a member of the Georgetown Clinical Society, the D.C. Medical Society and the Mental Health Commission of the federal courts in Washington. His wife, Rosemarie Ward Murphy, died in 1984. Survivors include three daughters, Mel Gallagher of Houston and Martha G. Kavanaugh and Michele Durbin, both of Bethesda; two sons, Thomas W. Murphy III of Brookeville and Mark John Murphy of Washington, and seven grandchildren."

Brett Kavanaugh, Georgetown Prep, fraternities, '80's, Yale, USC, law school, parties - Mary Cummins

UPDATE 09/27/2018 This morning Dr Ford stated that her alleged sexual assaulter and his friend laughed while she was sexually assaulted. If you read my account of a 1982 frat party the alleged sexual assailants also laughed. I thought that would mean the victim wasn't sexually assaulted and or raped. I'm clearly wrong. I now think the USC sorority woman was gang raped. I didn't know anyone at the party. The fraternity asked me, a dormie, if I wanted to go to a party with a frat member. I said okay not knowing what to expect. My date was polite and nice. He was drunk by the time he was at the party because frat made him drink an entire bottle of champagne. I was supposed to drink half but I didn't drink. He was passed out drunk at the party and on the way home. The next day he apologized for anything he did. I told him he got drunk, did nothing improper and passed out on a lounge chair by the pool. He said "thank god!"

I wish I weren't so shy and passive at the time. I wish I were more assertive back then as I am today. I wish I knew more about the USC Greek system at the time. I truly wish my super young 16/17 year old self would have protected another woman. I just didn't know fully know what was happening. I'm thankful that I didn't drink anything in college or I could have been sexually assaulted or raped. I feel so bad that that happened to other woman. That would have truly devastated me as a strict orthodox virgin Catholic at the time. I feel so bad for women who had this happen to them :-(

ORIGINAL: I attended a frat party while I was at USC in 1982. I had no idea what to expect. I didn't drink alcohol until way after college because I saw students drunk and vomiting at a USC football game. I was also very under age.

My date picked me up at my dorm and we went to a nice private bus parked outside of the frat house. They gave each couple a bottle of champagne they had to drink before we got to the party. My date drank the whole thing as I didn't want any.

We arrived at a nice home with no adults. It had to be a rental or someone's parents were away. Everyone was getting very drunk except this one girl with beautiful long blonde hair and me. She said she didn't want any alcohol.

My date was passed out on a lounge chair by the pool. Guys were chasing girls trying to make out with them. Guys running around naked pushing women into the pool. Almost everyone was totally drunk. Guys were trying to grab, kiss, hug, whatever me so I went back to the bus and hung out with the bus driver. I sat low in my seat so no one would realize I was on the bus.

When it was finally very early the next morning like 2:00 a.m. the bus driver said they had to get on the bus or he was leaving without them. I saw the girl with long blonde hair almost passed out drunk. Did they force her to drink or slip her something? Two guys had to help her on the bus. They took her to the back row seat of the bus I assumed so she could lay down.

Ten minutes from USC I finally notice a line of guys going to the back row of the bus laughing. I then noticed that they seemed to be taking turns looking at her (?) and laughing as she was passed out. My naive young self did not think anything bad was happening to her. There's no way anyone would commit the crime of rape, right?

When we finally arrived back at USC the boys left her on the rear seat. I went back to see if she needed help getting off the bus. She was passed out and had vomited all over her beautiful hair. Her shoes were gone and her dress was all messed up. I finally went outside to find her sorority sisters so they could help her off the bus. It took two of them to get her off the bus as she was still passed out.

I didn't think at the time that guys would rape her back there. Rape is a crime. They shouldn't do that, right? I really hope that didn't happen but I don't know. Based on what I'm reading about what happened at other colleges, I think she may have been raped by a few guys. If it happened today, I would have intervened when she got on the bus half passed out. Actually my more experienced self wouldn't go to a frat party today even if I were that age. That was my first and last frat party. That party made me not want to drink for a long time after college. It's also why I never wanted to be drunk ever.

No one ever asked me about what happened that night. I never heard anyone say she was raped. She probably didn't report it because she was passed out drunk. I wonder how she's feeling today reading all this Kavanaugh news. It must be upsetting.

Back in 1990 a Headmaster for a Washington private school issued this warning to parents of a few local schools. The warning is about unsupervised parties with alcohol and "sexual license."

Anne Gorsuch Burford mother of Neil Gorsuch, nominee Justice for Supreme Court of US almost destroyed EPA

Neil’s Gorsuch mother Anne Irene McGill Gorsuch Burford, had a long and storied history of loyally doing what she was told by her boss then President Ronald Reagan. Long a staunch enemy of the environment she was nonetheless appointed to head the Environmental Protection Agency. After taking an oath to protect the environment she instantly tried to destroy it to allow dirty energy to pollute our lands, waters and air. Like mother like son. Anne obviously taught her children that this is what you do to get ahead.

Per the LA Times, "In 1976, she was elected to the first of two terms in the Colorado House of Representatives, where she was a member of a group that called itself the Crazies for its members' passionate devotion to states' rights and opposition to federal energy and environmental policies. She was named outstanding freshman legislator and worked on legislation concerning hazardous wastes and vehicle emissions." Anne Burford vigorously worked against the EPA to allow polluters and dirty energy companies to harm the environment.

"James Watt, who became Mr. Reagan's interior secretary, and James Coors, the Colorado brewing and energy magnate, sponsored Ms. Burford for the E.P.A. post. Her confirmation was held up for months as senators debated her qualifications and questioned her agenda, but the outcome was never in serious doubt."

We just went through this with Donald Trump's EPA pick Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt. Pruitt also spent years filing lawsuits against the EPA. We can expect Pruitt to cut the budget, fire employees, get rid of regulations, end all investigations and expand dirty energy in our environment just like Ann Gorsuch Burford did.

More from the Times article, "When her nomination hearing was finally held on May 1, 1981, she began by speaking lyrically of her own environment.

''As a long-term Coloradan,'' she said, ''I come before you with a deep appreciation of the unique beauties which we enjoy in our environment -- the majesty and grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, the openness and sense of space of our eastern plains.'' What a load of bullshit the new official language of the US.

Anne was appointed the first female administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency by former President Ronald Reagan in 1981. She served from 1981 to 1983. Per the Times, "However, once she was appointed she tried to cut the EPA’s budget by over 45 percent and promote voluntary compliance rather than strict regulations. The number of cases filed against alleged polluters were reduced during her tenure. She also approved pesticide spraying and cut the number of employees working at the EPA.

In 1982, on the order of President Reagan she refused to release documents to Congress after the EPA was accused of mishandling $1.6 billion in a toxic waste fund. She was held in contempt of Congress and later resigned, saying that she couldn’t do her job anymore and believed that she had become “the issue” in the EPA."

Later she would attack the White House for not helping her in her defense of the lawsuits when she was following Reagan's orders. That's what you get for breaking a sworn oath and not doing your job of protecting the environment. Karma's a bitch when you agree to do the evil bidding of your evil overlord.

If Anne would do something like this at this level you can bet her son Neil Gorsuch, Neil McGill Gorsuch would do the same. Why else would Trump appoint him? He will vote any way Trump tells him even if it means destroying our nation, its laws and its people. He will do what Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito does. He is given the outcome by the President. Then he will have to add alt-facts, twist words, incorrectly cite the record, and make up crazy interpretations of law. That is exactly what unethical Justice Lee Anne Dauphinot did in my case in Texas. They don't care about upholding the laws of our country. They only want the prestige of a title and money.

One interesting thing I did find out in researching Neil Gorsuch's history which I will post more about later is that his parents, aunts, uncles on both sides all died youngish from 60-65 from natural causes. His father died at 64, father's twin about the same time, mother died at 62 of cancer, other aunts, uncles all died 60-65. Neil Gorsuch has a double whammy of bad genetics which indicate his life expectancy could be about 60. While he may be 49 if approved he may only be on the bench ten years. I don't know if his parents, aunts, uncles all smoked, drank, ate meat or didn't exercise. If that was the cause of their death then he might avoid an early death by avoiding those bad habits. UPDATE: His mother the head of the EPA was a major smoker. I bet the father was also. Neil and his siblings probably exposed to second hand smoke as a kid. Maybe mother died of lung cancer, father as well.

Neil Gorsuch's wife Marie Louise Burleston born 1968 is from Oxfordshire, England. Her parents are Prudence and Bryan. Louise is registered to vote Republican.

Neil's brother is John Joseph Gorsuch born September 8, 1973 lives in Denver, Colorado goes by J.J. Gorsuch. Registered to vote as Republican.

Neil's sister is Stephanie Lee Gorsuch Pankau born 1969, registered to vote.

20 times Justice Don Willett slammed Donald Trump on Twitter since 2013. And how many times did Donald Trump mention Justice Don Willett on Twitter? Zero. How many times did Donald Trump tweet to Justice Don Willett? Also zero. Neither follows the other. Justice Willett made the tweet above slamming New Yorkers and lists in response to being told he was on Donald Trump's list of prospective SCOTUS nominees. Supreme slam! Justice Willett for the win!

(UPDATE: I was being sarcastic when I said "Willett for the win!" This was obviously a very poor reply to being on Trump's SCOTUS list. He should have said nothing or just released his official reply. This comes off as childish just like some of Trump's rants and attacks. When Willett was asked about the list at Greg Abbott's book signing yesterday, Willett replied "I'm exercising judicial restraint," That "restraint" didn't last long. A few hours later Willett slammed Trump with a tweet. Eventually Willett repeated what other people on the list stated and released the following reply to reporters,

“I respect all, and personally know several, of the judges listed. Being named alongside them for any purpose is a rich honor. They are exceptional jurists, and importantly, over half have served or are serving in the state judiciary, where most American justice is dispensed.")

Justice Don Willett of Texas @JusticeWillett makes fun of Donald Trump's @realDonaldTrump wall, Obama and Cruz "birther" rants, his lack of basic religious knowledge, his nasty demeanor, his Trump University fraud lawsuit, his stance against freedom of speech, his Megyn Kelly spat, his childish attacks on others, his Twitter wars and most of all of course his hair. Justice Willett retweets attacks by others against Donald Trump. He even encourages his followers to attack Donald Trump, Trump University and Trump's hair.

And why did Donald Trump put Justice Don Willett on his list of potential Supreme Court Justices of the United States? Just because he saw that he tweets. Asinine! Willett FTW!

Donald Trump doesn't seem to realize that Justice Willett is Ted Cruz's coworker and friend for many years. They have the same hateful opinions against same sex marriage, LGBT rights, pro-choice, immigrants, Muslims, Mexicans, poor people, minimum wage workers, blacklivesmatter, adequate school funding, health insurance... They are both for religious freedom to discriminate against others especially Muslims, same sex couples, LGBT...

Still, Justice Willett would be on his knees in a heart beat to be appointed to the SCOTUS by Donald Trump. It's been his goal for his entire life. Willett has been kissing SCOTUS Justices butts for years and years. Willett went so far as to plagiarize Justice Scalia in his written response to questions from Governor Perry to become the Justice of the SCOTX. In fact Willett has a long history of plagiarizing people including the founding fathers in his opinions. Willett then demands that others quote him and not Thomas Jefferson who actually wrote the original quote.

Justice Willett is the one who begged the 84th Texas Legislature to name him "Twitter Laureate." It's obviously for media exposure to promote his campaigns for political appointments and office. Justice Willett is the one who wrote the proclamation. Willett has been interviewed many times about his Twitter account. Every time he has said he feels it's appropriate to Tweet as a Justice. It's pretty ironic that his tweets just bit him in the ass. His dream of being a SCOTUS Justice was probably just destroyed by his own tweets. There is no way Trump would appoint anyone who has made fun of him for years in such a horrible manner.

Justice Willett has stated that he didn't feel his tweets prejudiced or biased him in any cases that may come before him. That is not true. Willett frequently posts about his opinion on matters which have come and will continue to come before the court. Justice Willett has tweeted AGAINST blacklivesmatter, immigrants, Muslims, Mexicans, same sex couples, LGBT rights, pro-choice... Willett has tweeted FOR his religion Christianity, having the ten commandments on public property, having a nativity scene on public property, allowing people to discriminate against LGBT and others in the name of religion, reversing same sex marriage laws, reversing pro-choice, reversing Obama care... Willett promotes the agendas of Texas politicians Ted Cruz, Greg Abbott, Rick Perry... Willett is also pro big business, pro lawyers. I have correctly predicted Willett's case opinions based on his previously tweeted bias for or against certain parties. Here is but one tweet Willett made against blacklivesmatter and two replies. I am of course all for police officers. I went through the police academy. I'm against the person who killed the officer. He committed a horrible crime and should go to jail. Still, that is not the time to coop #blacklivesmatter. Of course the officer's life mattered. That's not the point.

Esteban Nunez released from prison early because of favor by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger his dad Fabian Nunez's friend

Per the Times "the son of a former California state Assembly speaker Nunez has been freed from prison after his manslaughter sentence was dramatically reduced in 2011 by then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, prison officials said Sunday. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said Esteban Nuñez (real name Estevan Armondo Nunez), now 27 (date of birth January 21, 1989), will live in Sacramento County on parole supervision for three years."

I wrote an article years ago when Esteban Nunez was first charged with the crimes which somehow vanished. I just found the photos from the article. They are from Esteban Nunez's MySpace page in their original format with original date. They have not been altered in any way.

"Nuñez entered prison in June 2010 to serve a 16-year sentence in the stabbing death of college student Luis Santos in San Diego.

On his last day in office in 2011, Schwarzenegger commuted the sentence to seven years. Nuñez is the son of Fabian Nuñez, who was speaker of the state Assembly and a political ally while Schwarzenegger was governor.

Esteban Nuñez received credit for good behavior and was released after serving less than six years.

“Our son has paid his debt to society. He is committed to continuing the work of healing, self-reflection and spiritual growth,” the Nuñez family said in a statement released Friday."

I quoted that so no one will think I was not fair. That said Esteban Nunez did not pay his debt to society. He intentionally killed someone with his buds. He was just using a knife while underage drinking alcohol like he did so many times before and bragging about it online.
