UPDATE 07/25/2018 It appears the police knew the police shot Melyda right after it happened. A witness in the store stated Mely ran to the front of the store when she heard the accident. She was nearing the front door when Gene ran in. She was shot at the door then turned around and ran back in the store and told people to run. Then she collapsed. At that time Gene told another person to take her outside to get help and not to come back in. That person did that then an officer dragged her out of the store. She died on site. They put a white sheet over her before removing her.
The case is in the system. 31 charges.

Corado did not die in a vehicle. She died at the scene. I see why they took down the coroner's report. Reports have stated that Corado heard the car crash then went to the front of the store to investigate. At that moment Gene Atkins entered the store right where Corado was walking. The two police in the police car shot at Gene. One of them accidentally shot and killed Corado. I think it was the male officer based on the body cam video LAPD posted.
Notice how the police and major media instantly said Gene shot and killed Corado. It wasn't even "alleged." The media and others still have not corrected their false statements. I thought it odd that he would flee into the store then shoot someone in the store the second he got inside. Made no sense.
It really was stupid for the police to shoot at the front of the store. Of course people will be there. When I went through the police academy, took the gun class, we were taught to look through the shot. Don't take the shot unless you're positive there is no one behind your target especially at that distance and shooting so quickly at a moving target. I don't believe they should have taken the shot.
"Soon after Atkins entered the grocery store, a woman was seen being dragged away from the store’s entryway and then being treated by paramedics, who tried to save the woman, now identified as Corado, but were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at the scene."
"Gene Atkins appeared in court briefly Tuesday and agreed to a rescheduling of his arraignment to Aug. 14. Bail was set at $18.775 million. The charges included: One count each of murder; kidnapping; fleeing a pursuing peace officer's motor vehicle while driving recklessly; grand theft of an automobile; driving or taking a vehicle without consent; discharge of a firearm with gross negligence; shooting at an occupied motor vehicle; and assault with a firearm."

The DA will still be charging Gene Atkins with murder even though he didn't kill Melyda Corado.
"Even though police gunfire killed Corado, Atkins faces a murder charge based on a so-called provocative act theory of murder. That theory says a the defendant's criminal acts set into motion a situation where the natural and probable consequences of the defendant's criminal acts were dangerous to human life and a third party, in response to those acts, responded with deadly force, prosecutors said."

The Trader Joe's manager was killed by a police bullet. The coroner report said she died in a "vehicle." I assume that was the ambulance?

UPDATE: Gene Atkins has two daughters. He had worked as a security guard. Gene got in an argument with his grandmother over his girlfriend living with them in the home. His license as a security guard had exired.

Melyda Corado who went by Mely Corado on Facebook was accidentally shot by a police officer. Melyda Maricela Corado was born April 23, 1991 in Los Angeles County, California. Gene Evin Atkins was accused of shooting his 78-year-old grandmother Mary Madison and girlfriend before leading police on a chase that culminated at the Trader Joe’s. UPDATE: 11/16/2017 Kevin Neal's now dead wife was named Barbara Glisan. She was 38, born in Hickory, North Carolina August 1979. Below is a pic of them together from March. Online it said she lived with Kevin the past and currently moved back to North Carolina. She is listed as single online with no children. Maybe they just called each other man and wife. I think her father may be Professor George Bernard Glisan of Hickory Printing Group.

ORIGINAL: The shooter has been identified as Kevin Jason Neal, 44 of Corning, Tehama, California. The shooting started at his house where he killed his wife on Monday. Then it started at his neighbor's house where he shot a woman and a man. There was an active restraining order against Kevin stating he must stay away from the neighbors. Lot of good that did. The restraining order stemmed from the case below which was still active.
Kevin Neal is 5'5" 145 lbs. He sometimes goes by the last name of "Smith." He was born in California. He could be Kevin J Smith born in Los Angeles, California March 28, 1973 to mother Nimz. He also lived in Raleigh, North Carolina, appears to have gone to North Carolina State University and played drums. Birth dates, name match. He was born Smith but went by Neal. Relatives are mother Anne Brinkley Miles, b 1946, sister Miranda Castle Neal Stoughton, b. 1975 and John Edgar Neal, stepfather b. 1942. He lived in Greenville, Kenly and Raleigh, North Carolina. His mother probably remarried so she changed his name to Neal. His mother is named Anne and lives in Raleigh, NC. His other sister is Sheridan Lynette Neal Orr b. 1971. He had a wife whom he killed before the shooting rampage. He grew marijuana. I thought that is what it looked like in the satellite view.
"Kevin Janson Neal: 43, of Corning was arrested Tuesday in the 6900 block of Bobcat Lane in Rancho Tehama. He was booked into Tehama County Jail on the charges of assault with deadly weapon not firearm or force, great bodily injury likely, battery on person, crime against elder or dependent adult, discharge firearm with gross negligence and false imprisonment with violence. Bail was $160,000."

04/13/2017: Smith and two adult aides were in the classroom during the shooting. One aide said Cedric was shooting everyone. Cedric pointed his gun at one aide but it just clicked as he was out of bullets. The aides, students fled as Cedric reloaded the gun. That means he intentionally killed the kids. He probably did that because he knew how horrible that would make Smith feel for the last few moments of her life.
A friend of Smith stated that Smith said Anderson was acting very strangely before Smith left him. Sounds like he was having some sort of breakdown. Still, he knew what he was doing when he killed those people.
A man by the name of Lincoln Cooper met Cedric two weeks ago in a gas station. "In their first encounter, Cooper said Anderson told him about his troubled marriage and frustration with his wife's family, who he blamed for their separation.
"He mentioned about killing. He said, 'I wish I could kill them.' Not her, but the family," Cooper said.
The two talked for several minutes before Cooper invited him to his Perris ministry, The Concerned Family. There, Anderson met Cooper's wife.
"He said, 'I never did anything to her. I was trying to tell her not to take the side of her family and then I just touched her on the chest. But I did not do anything. Then she turned around and said I choked her,'" Fortunate Cooper said." Here is that article.
04/12/2017: Cedric Anderson went to Inglewood High School class of 1982. He has a brother Darryl Wayne Anderson who was the class of 1983. A woman filed a civil suit against both of them. There is no other information available about the suit.

Cedric Anderson threatened to kill his previous wife Natalie who is the mother of his three sons. This is from part of the restraining order his previous wife Natalie filed against him. Cedric has a very long history of abuse and threats.
"Cedric called and said he wanted me to pay for the divorce. I told him no, he said we would all die, me the kids and himself," ex-wife Natalie Anderson wrote in a January 1997 petition for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Natalie said the terrifying threat was made on Oct. 15, 1996. A couple months later, "Cedric called me and said he would pick the kids up from school and I would not get them back," Natalie said in the handwritten filing."
"Cedric had beat up his aunt and then called me and said, 'No b---h, the police don't have me but I'm going to bust your a-- before this is over," she claimed.
"He refused to leave and ended up jumping on me and choking me. He did this in front of his sister," she said in a follow-up filing. "I telephoned the police. They wanted to arrest the respondent, but I did not want the children to see their father hauled away in handcuffs."
Natalie, 53, said Anderson "talked" her into abandoning her restraining order case, but the verbal abuse continued.
"Since then, the respondent has been threatening to kill me. He has told other ministers and bishops, my mother, his sister and our friends that he is going to kill me," Natalie said in her declaration signed Aug. 21, 1997, a few weeks after their divorce was finalized.
Jennifer Lindsey, 50, won a three-year restraining order in 2013 after she claimed Anderson nearly killed her. She said the maintenance worker and Christian minister pounced on her in the predawn hours of May 17, 2013 while raging over her plans to go to a karaoke venue with a female friend.
"He suddenly pulled the blankets off of me and then grabbed me by my arms. He then put the pillow over my face and held it so I could not breathe," she said in her handwritten filing in Los Angeles.
"I fought as hard as I could, kicking with my feet. He still had one of my wrists and continued to push the pillow down into my face," she said.
Lindsey finally managed to break free but was severely traumatized, she said.
"I thought I would die that night," she wrote.
A week later, Anderson allegedly attacked her while she was ironing clothes for a Memorial Day dinner with him.
"(He) shoved me with his hand to my throat, pushing me onto the bed," she said. "He had a butcher knife in his hand and told me he was sick of me."
Anderson, meanwhile, went on to marry Karen Smith, 53, in January, her mom confirmed.
Shortly after the wedding, Anderson started taunting his new wife with baseless allegations she was "fooling around" and threatened to "throw her out the window," Smith's mom Irma Sykes told The News Monday.
"He was a wolf in sheep's clothing. As soon as they married, he turned on her. The real Cedric came out," Sykes, 80, said.
"She just left him, and he was angry. He tried to butter her up and say all kinds of nice things to her, after he cursed her out. Anyhow, she decided no, she was not going to stay with him. And that's why he killed her."

04/11/2017: Cedric Anderson's family released a statement.
“To the victims and their families, there are no words to express our deepest sympathy for what our son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend has done,” read the statement. “Because of this horrible, heinous, disgusting, senseless crime that was committed upon humanity, every life connected will forever be changed. To the families connected, my heart is truly heavy and if I could bring your loved ones back, please know that I would go to the end of the Earth and give my last breath trying.”

Today Cedric Charles Anderson went to San Bernardino North Park Elementary school and shot and killed his wife then himself. He also shot two students. One, an eight year old has died. The other is in critical condition. Who was Cedric Anderson? Everyone, when you meet someone new, do some research. Don't believe everything they say.
Cedric was born March 19, 1964. He has sons named Jared, Jeremy, Jacob Charles Anderson which are from previous wives. They were born in Snellville, Gwinnett, Georgia and Los Angeles, California, USA. His ex-wives are alive. His kids graduated from college, most are married with small children. His eldest kid is 31. He's lived in Grayson, Georgia, California City, CA, Lancaster, CA and Riverside, California. His marriage to Karen was on January 28, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Karen Elaine Sykes Smith Anderson was born November 17, 1963. Her mother is Irma Lois Alexander. Her father is Richard Sykes. She has a brother named Richard. Her ex-husband is Roderic L Smith. Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said Cedric Anderson had a criminal history, including arrests for domestic violence, weapons and drug charges. Burguan said he was not able to provide specifics about those cases. He said the criminal history preceded his relationship with Karen Smith. Cedric married Karen January 28, 2017.
Facebook just updated Cedric's page. This isn't going over very well. It says "Remembering Cedric Anderson. We hope people who love Cedric will find comfort in visiting his profile to remember and celebrate his life."
In some of his posts he states he has anger issues and guns. He and his family are super religious. Cedric believes his god is a vengeful god.

UPDATE: Radigan's ex-wife Peggy just left me a message. She asked me to remove the link to the video tribute she made of Radigan which was publicly posted on another website. Link removed. Peggy said she made the video and put it on her Facebook page. Someone allegedly took it from there and loaded it to the other website. She was upset because her kids are in it. I believe the video is made from very old photos of her kids. I assume her kids would be adults by now. They definitely wouldn't look like those photos. The video is still up at the other website.

10/20/2016 The second person arrested and released was Deigo Reid. No one could find the name due to misspelling in the news article or in the Los Angeles Sheriff Dept records. The dept has a long record of mistyping names, birth dates... The name, birth date matches a Facebook profile. I see a Deigo Reid listed as a barber in Florida. That could be a misspelling. He hasn't changed his FB page. I assume he's in the hospital and/or under federal detention as he was in the US illegally.

10/19/2016 Radigan's brother Mark stated that a stray bullet killed Radigan. He was not the target. Mark stated Radigan doesn't finance Jamaican gangs. He makes his money off taxis and buses. A Ni Night is planned for this Sunday in Jamaica. I assume that is a wake. What's interesting is that in the drug selling case involving Mowayne they used trucks, buses to transport the drugs, money from California to Maryland to New Jersey to Florida. Maybe that is related to the taxis, vans. Another person killed at the party was a cab driver. Dilly real name Vincent Bowens was also a taxi driver. Speculation for now.
The two men arrested have been released from jail. No charges filed. You must charge someone with a crime within three days. As they have done no ballistic tests, finger print tests...they did not have enough information to hold him longer. They legally had to release them. I would think because they aren't citizens that the feds could have arrested them for that and held them? Otherwise I think they'll flee.
The men were Mowayne McKay and Diego Leid. Mowayne was arrested 10/15/2016 at 4:50 am. He was released last night at 6:54 pm. He was originally arrested on a felony charge with $2,000,000 bail.
This is allegedly Mowayne McKay as ID's from someone in Jamaica. The bday doesn't match the one LAPD used. This is August 15, 1983 and LA Sheriff is May 15, 1983. I believe it's a typo. All of his other arrests that I can see use August 15, 1983.

Turns out the home was reported for illegally operating a business. Los Angeles Building and Safety investigated, found no violation and closed the investigation. If the illegal restaurant had been shut down January 2015 those people might not be dead today.

Fourth victim of the shooting has died. One man remains in critical condition. The LAPD will release the names of the victims as soon as next of kin is notified. All four victims are male. I believe next of kin of Radigan have been notified. As he has a few baby mamas, wives, maybe finding the right one is the issue.
The local Jamaican community is talking about the murders. This is based on what others have said on social media. I was not there of course. People have been contacting me stating their version is the only correct version yet there is no physical evidence just hearsay. So I'll post the various reports from various alleged eye witnesses.
Here's the most recent story per someone who was not there. It wasn't Radigan's party. He was there by himself, not with his crew. His friends removed his chains, Rolex, rings, wallet, phone after he died and gave them to his baby mother. I do remember seeing that in the hand of a woman who said she was his wife in the LA Times article. Someone said that was Sophia.

Per another version it was allegedly Radigan's birthday weekend. It was his party which is how people knew he'd be there. Supposedly Jr and John John and John John's woman who may be named Tameka killed Radigan. Jr and Tameka removed their Instagram photos. He was shot in the head. The reason was because, I think, someone shot someone in the foot, stepped on their foot. Maybe it's a phrase and not literal. Another man who died was shot in the chest protecting his wife of two weeks. Another woman shot in the back by accident. She's had multiple surgeries as her internal organs were damaged. She is the one laying on her back on the ground at night. Another woman shot in the face by accident. Another man shot in the hand by accident. A couple of guys are threatening war in retaliation. They're threatening to kill the murderers and their families. People trying to calm them down. That's the last thing we need here. Innocent people were shot in this shooting as it is.
Another alleged story. Seems a guy named Steve was coming back from Jamaica. This was a welcome party for him. The guy who shot Radigan in the head is Bready cousin Junior. John John and Junior started the shooting. After Junior shot Radigan he took all his gold chains and Rolex off his hand. Radigan and his crew were the targets. Two other men were killed unintentionally. One of the dead is "Blacks" who used to drive a Taxi from Mission Rd.
Another story. A guy at the party shot someone else in the foot few days ago. Jr saw the guy at the party and shot him in the head. Radigan was not the target but an accident. Everyone knew who would be at this party. Now they're saying Jr was killed. People are saying they were idiots for going to a well known party where everyone is armed. They are saying this was not a drug deal problem.

Now they are fighting over who will bury him. Lots of fighting going on. Most believe it was a senseless killing which involved innocents. Allegedly one of his wives just made this tribute video. They are now saying he was merely a Dance Hall "personality." He would get dressed up and go to clubs and flash money. He would be in Dance Hall videos in Jamaica which are just videos of people dancing in clubs. Per the minutes of court room testimony he claimed he was old, poor, barely ever had any real work. He was supposed to be deported after his last prison stint. His friends admit he was the head of drug gangs in Jamaica and Brooklyn, New York. That is why they called him DON. They mention the intersection they worked Troy and Lincoln in Brooklyn. Most of the people who knew him said "you mess with drugs and crime, you will end up dead or in prison."

I searched legal records for Robert Henry. I see a Robert Henry arrested in Brooklyn for selling crack cocaine. That Robert Henry is from Jamaica says he was raised by a single mother had a young daughter and older son. The age is a little off. Still, if this were the same Robert Henry the birthday party might have been a release from prison party. I see another party there in 2012 which might have also been a release party per court records. As I don't have a birth date nothing is confirmed. That is a very common name. He also used a different nickname when he was most recently arrested for selling crack cocaine in Brooklyn, New York. With his past it would make sense to change it.
Radigan's girlfriend Sophia confirms it's him. They confirm his first name is Robert. He's a Virgo. I don't understand the Jamaican slang. I think "Sunrise Crew" is a gang, so is "Kingston 13." I stupidly originally thought they were names of music groups.

UPDATE: LA Times updated again. Seems it may have been a dispute over a drug deal. The victims said they didn't know the people who shot them. Police don't know if that's the truth or they just don't want to say. The primary intended victim was killed. They allegedly used semiautomatic guns.
Dilly stated he's 63, is from Kingston, Jamaica, owns the house, plans to sell it and move back to Jamaica. Per records he does not own the house. He said one, maybe two of the victims were his friends. He said he used to be a cab driver. I see one other lawsuit as a cab driver in LA. One of the victim's nickname is "Black" was a cab driver.
Three men died at the scene. 12 were injured three critically. A man and woman were arrested. They are both in the hospital. Dilly aka Vincent Bowens was not shot or injured. He said as soon as he heard shots he hid.
There was a bench warrant out for the DJ. He was on 36 months probation, had to take an alcohol class. He was found guilty of reckless driving September 2015 case number 5IG04488. He missed a progress report. He was charged with DUI and not having a driver's license. They said he was a first time offender but this is the second third offense that I see. He also had to do 12 days of Caltrans, pay $390 fine and take alcohol classes for three months.

Seems Mark Anthony Bogle has a longer criminal rap sheet. In 2013 he was arrested for drug trafficking in Arizona. He was selling pot. Big deal.
LA Times updated their article. There was allegedly a private party at the house/restaurant last night. Mainly younger people age 20 to 30 were there. Neighbors said the party goers are generally older and nice. They have been having parties there Thursday, Friday and Saturday night sometimes with a DJ. There was a DJ there last night. Another neighbor said there were shots fired few months back there but no one was hit. The owner who identified himself as only Dilly said he's a caterer. That is not a restaurant. He just cooks for people on Saturdays.
We don't know who was shot or who did the shooting. I see no other problems at this location. I assume the party goers started the fight. Someone said a few went home to get guns then returned. I am by no means stating that the owners of the restaurant, house, DJ had anything to do with the fight that broke out among the party goers. This is just information.
Dilly's Jamaican Kitchen is owned by 56 year old Vincent L Bowens. Dilly's Kitchen Vincent Bowens 2918 S Rimpau Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016-3927 DBA. His wife is Greta same age. I only see one lawsuit for personal injury in 2003.
The house is owned by Tony Wilson who received it via a quit claim from Vincent and Greta Bowens in 2014. The home was in foreclosure in 2011. Someone got a loan in 2006 then didn't make the payments. The lis pendis was released in 2012. It's not owner occupied per tax roll. The last real sale was 2003 for $200,000 when the Bowens bought it. Maybe the Bowens got suckered into quit claiming it to Tony Wilson.
It's zoned LA R2 which is residential two family. It's in LA County, not LA City. It's zoned as SFR single family residence. 5,199 sf lot with 1,165 sf bldg, four rooms, two beds and one bath built in 1923. The owner receives mail at 3500 S Burnside, Los Angeles, CA 90016 nearby. Based on the satellite image the bldg is larger than 1,165 sf. I'll check permits. Obviously you can't run a restaurant, sell beer in a residential zoned area. There are no permits for any additions to this property. You obviously need a restaurant, kitchen, alcohol license to operate a restaurant and sell alcohol. I take it the neighbors didn't complain about it. If they had, it would have been shut down.

I think she's the one in the middle here. The woman in the top pic posted that Greta Bowens is her boss. This was on her birthday March 19. This is a long shot but there is a Greta Riles aka Greta Bowens who has been missing since 1991. Dilly's has an LA City business license. That's odd because the address is in the county. City charges business tax but county does not. Of course Vincent Bowens probably caters in the city.

So my buddy Big Ray kept telling me about this spot called Dilly’s that served Jamaican food.I was like ok you have sum kool spots let’s hit it up.Ray was like,“ i want you know it’s a house not a restaurant. I was like ooh shit this should be good. As i arrived at this house in west LA it looked like something outta Belly or Shottas.Men in the yard smoking herb and drinking, he had 2 smokers going on by the front door and the walk way was built into the garage area which leads to a extended restaurant style additional kitchen. Dilly himself wasnt much for words at first because he lets his food do the talking.I’ve had Jamaican food before since one of my best friends is Jamaican and i’ve eatn it here and there when i had a chance. But Dilly’s food got my attention. You can get a beer while you wait to be served and service here is fast since they are always cooking.My personal favorites are the jerk chicken and chicken foot soup. But other good items he serves are stuffed fish,oxtail,stew chicken,goat curry etc. His drink selection is awesome from Red Stripes to Irish Moss shake to wash down this great food.Dilly is actually a big fan of burrito’s lol so i often stop by El Picante in Bell Gardens and get him one.Dilly and i have became good friends and often gives me different food to try out like his beef patties which are the truth! There’s no menu just whatever he’s cooking that day which is usually atleast 7 different things. He only does jerk chicken on fridays or if he makes extra from when he does catering which he also does for events or even small parties. His time of operation is when the foods gone which means if u call late and if he answers the phone.I’ve been there as late as 1am so u never know. So if your looking for sum good home cooked jamaican food hit up Dilly’s in west LA off of La Brea and Adams.
