Truth about Donald Trump, Willie Brown and an almost Helicopter Crash by Mary Cummins

UPDATE: I posted about this almost helicopter crash 11/04/2016. I posted this article 08/09/24 at 2:58 pm. I then emailed it to NY Times, tweeted it to NY Times, Trump and posted it on my LinkedIn and Facebook pages. NY Times and few other journalists emailed me. Some asked for Nate Holden contact which I shared. They contacted him to confirm story and then ran articles about the most likely mixup of Donald Trump's story later yesterday. I believe Trump mixed up Willie Brown for Nate Holden. All other aspects of Trump's story match Nate's story, i.e. date, place, Barbara Res story, Taj Mahal...

ORIGINAL: When I heard the story about Donald Trump and black California politician Willie Brown and an almost helicopter crash it sounded familiar. I remembered a story from black California politician Nate Holden when he rode in a helicopter with Trump and almost crashed before making an emergency landing in New Jersey in 1990. I remembered because it mentioned the Ambassador Hotel which I appraised for Trump's potential "Trump Tower" deal. I met Trump's main real estate person Barbara Res when I was working with the Schine family who owned the shuttered hotel.

Below is the text from Nate Holden's November 2016 post. A link to the post is below that. I saved the text and post image in 2016 and just found it today when I heard Trump might sue the NY Times. Notice image above says "1 hour." I saved it one hour after Nate posted it November 2016. Then I searched my friend Nate's Facebook page and the post was still there. Based on the opening of Taj Mahal April 5, 1990 that is probably when it happened.

"In my recent post I stated that Donald Trump is, "Not a giver to charities" At the conclusion, I said I would report how we avoided a crash in one of his helicopters. Here is the story. I guess Pence didn't get the memo about "Trump Air"

"The Donald" asked me to return to New York to continue discussion on the acquisition of the Ambassador Hotel site and to accompany him to Atlantic City at the opening of the Taj Mahal, his newly built gambling casino. After a short visit in his office, we took the elevator to the lobby on our way to the launching pad. While in the lobby there were a number of people who acknowledged me by saying, "Hi, Senator Holden! Are you living in New York now?" DT said to me, "This is my building and more people know you then know me!" LOL That bothered him.

From that point, we proceeded to take his limo to the launching pad. It was the bumpiest limo ride I ever had! Shocks were gone. Every pot hole we hit was a big bounce. I couldn't believe his limo was not well maintained. We arrived at the launching pad and boarded the helicopter. Traveling with us was Barbara Res and one other individual. We had 2 pilots. BTW the helicopter was a refurbished military helicopter. "The Donald" said, "I have 2 pilots. In case one dies, the other can take over." As we gained altitude heading towards Atlantic City, DT talked about how beautiful the skyline was and how he was going to build the tallest building back in Los Angeles at the Ambassador Hotel site. After a short period of time the pilot began to yell at DT to, "Shut up! Shut up! Keep quiet!" The ride got rougher and rougher. The pilot then announced that the hydraulic system had just failed! They kept it airborne by pumping manually. Just then, I remembered that some of DT's top executives had died 6 months earlier in a helicopter crash because the hydraulic system failed. To make a long story short, we had an emergency landing in Linden, NJ which I am familiar with because I grew up in the area, Elizabeth. "The Donald" turned white as a ghost! I got angry because the plane was not properly maintained and I made my feelings known to the maintenance personnel. One had just crashed and this one was about to crash. I was very upset.

But that is not the worst part of the trip. We boarded another helicopter going to Atlantic City and when we arrived and de-boarded there was a red carpet for DT to enter the Taj Mahal surrounded by a welcoming committee on both sides of the red carpet. As we entered they began to applaud "The Donald" I walked side by side with him. The moment we entered the Taj Mahal he asked me if I wanted to have lunch and then he disappeared. His female assistant took me to a cafeteria area, which was demeaning to me, and then actually asked me to pay for my lunch! I refused! "The Donald" was no where to be found.

That was the straw that broke the camels back as far as I was concerned. I returned to NYC, checked out of his hotel where they charged me $450 per day even though I was invited by him. After that visit I did not hold him in high esteem. That's "The Donald" for you. That is what he was then and what he is today. He takes away and gives nothing back."

The case where the three Trump employees died was October 10, 1989 in Lacey Township, New Jersey. Three top executives in Donald Trump's organization were killed. That means Nate's ride was 1990. Ambassador Hotel shuttered 1989. I appraised it 1990. Taj Mahal casino mentioned in Nate's post opened in April 5, 1990. Article about the crash.

Turns out Barbara Res wrote about the helicopter story in her biography "Tower of Lies: What My Eighteen Years of Working With Donald Trump Reveals About Him" published in 2020. Her story matches Nate's.

Willie Brown allegedly dated Kamala Harris 1994-1995 or so. This helicopter incident happened in 1990. There's no reason why Brown or Holden would be talking shit about Kamala Harris especially at this time. In 1990 she was only the Deputy DA. 1998 she was Assistant DA. She wasn't the DA until 2002 long after these events. There are sometime a few Deputy DA, Assistant DA.

"Trump is always bidding on projects that his investors can NOT afford! Read this LA Times Article and see for yourself. His investors bought the right to develop the Ambassador Hotel site. That was my council district and I helped make the arrangements. The project was moving smoothly and would have been in competition with the Century City development projects. It spooked Zev Yaroslavsky who represented the 5th council district, which included Century City. I was very upset when Zev Yaroslavsky Richard Katz, who represented the Assembly district in the valley, and Jackie Goldberg called a news conference at the Hotel site protesting the development. UPDATE 11292025 Chad Bianco sued for wearing his uniform while campaigning. This is what I reported him for a while ago. Now he's begging for money for legal fees to fight the lawsuit. No one wants a candidate who is in a lawsuit while running for office. Chad Bianco is a messy candidate with baggage. He attacks anyone who dare says anything negative about him especially when it's true. He's also a wanna be Trump. That's the last type of candidate California would ever vote for. He is a proud Trump supporter. California is a blue state.

10/18/2024 This is exactly what I said Chad Bianco did to Vem Miller. Now Bianco is being sued for it. Riverside could also be sued because Chad Bianco stated this as the Sheriff. Bianco went to the press to state this.

"Vem Miller, a Las Vegas man arrested outside a Trump rally in Coachella with weapons, is suing Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco for defamation.

Bianco claimed deputies stopped a “third assassination attempt” on Trump, which Miller denies. The lawsuit argues Bianco fabricated the allegations to enhance his reputation.

Miller, released on a $5,000 bond, says the guns were for protection, and he had special entry passes from Trump’s campaign. Despite clearance from federal authorities, Bianco continued to make public accusations."

Here's Chad Bianco's instagram post when Donald Trump was nicked at a rally. He is using his platform as a Sheriff to campaign for a specific candidate. This is against ethics and regulations.

“Defendants intentionally, knowingly and with a wanton disregard for Miller’s constitutional rights used the media to spin a false and malicious narrative and unlawfully disclosed and disseminated said information for the purposes of humiliating him and destroying his livelihood,” he said.The lawsuit also names Riverside County, a deputy it refers to as “Deputy Coronado” and ten unnamed staff members of the sheriff’s department. Coronado is described as the deputy who conducted what Miller calls “an unlawful and unconstitutional search” of Miller’s car after he told officers at a parking lot checkpoint near the rally that he had firearms inside his vehicle. Miller alleges he intended to keep the firearms in the vehicle, not do any harm with them."

"Miller's lawsuit makes several claims, including failure to train, defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Filed in U.S. District Court in Nevada, it seeks compensatory and punitive damages, the immediate termination of Coronado, a declaration from the court that the defendants violated his rights and a court order for the sheriff's department to implement new training, policies, accountability systems and hiring practices."

Yesterday Chad Bianco tried to back off from his comments.

UPDATE: This is about the Sheriff but unrelated to the previous subject matter. Sheriff Chad Bianco said his deputies probably prevented ex President Donald Trump from being assassinated today at a campaign event. This is not true. Deputies pulled a guy over for plates then found guns in his car in Coachella. They arrested him. People were supposed to park then take a bus to the event. There's no way the guy could have gotten weapons on the bus then gotten in the event and shot him.

"A man was arrested outside of a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in Southern California, and multiple guns were illegally in his possession, according to authorities.

It's a violation of Riverside County Code of Ethics and California Government Code to campaign for a specific candidate while in uniform, on Department property or during work hours. This is a violation of the Riverside Police Department manual here. This is also one reason Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva had problems. I reported him then he removed his uniform when he campaigned. He still ended up with a ton of problems then thankfully lost the election.

Investigators.

(i) Any act on- or off-duty that brings discredit to this department.

'I think I am going to change teams,' Bianco said.

'I think they're on to something, but I don't think they're doing enough,' he added of state leaders.

'Trump 2024, baby, let's save this country and make America great again.'

The statement came after the officer explained what he framed as a 'love affair' between state leaders and criminals.

This, he said, is based on a 'belief that criminals are not responsible for their own actions' after the crime rate in Riverside County reached 39.04 per 1,000 residents last year - one of the highest in the country.

'They're a victim of society,' Bianco continued, before citing a supposed belief sported by state leaders that 'criminals are not responsible for their own actions.

'It's society's fault,' he went on, speaking sarcastically. 'It's businesses' fault. It's cops' fault. It might be my fault.'

He went on to note how some state leaders have criticized their respective judicial systems and law enforcement for being 'systemically racist' - a claim that has seen some repeat offenders released to combat supposed 'bias.'

They 'let them out,' the sheriff continued, lamenting how leaders in California and Washington give criminals 'housing... money... ' and even 'drugs and alcohol now.'

Bianco said he was 'tired' of such treatment, conceding that his colleagues in the Golden State have 'been wrong' to implement such guidance.

Bianco, a well-known conservative who governs the city between LA and Palm Springs, said he liked some things state leaders doing, but expressed disapproval on certain decisions. Just before, he explained what he framed as a 'love affair' between state leaders and criminals

The grizzled vet went on to claim that he has done all in his power over the past three decades to 'keep our community safe by arresting criminals and putting them in jail,' but leaders at the state level have stood in his way.

He lamented how these leaders and the once great state California have become somewhat pro-criminal in recent years, due to laws that have allowed violent offenders, by and large, to exploit the legal justice system.

'For the last five years I've been very critical about our governor for slashing our budgets from corrections, for letting prisoners out early, for closing our prisons,' he said, four years after taking a knee in solidarity with Riverside protestors following the murder of George Floyd.

'I've been critical of our state legislature for passing laws to make it harder to put people in prison. I've been critical for their changing laws that let prisoners out early. And I've been critical of our attorney general for seemingly not caring about crime.

'I think it's time we put a felon in the White House,' the officer went on to assert."

Let the Riverside Board of Supervisors and the Riverside District Attorney know you don't approve of local county employees campaigning in uniform. Guess Bianco thinks being a Trumper will help him in the next elections. It sure didn't help Sheriff Villanueva.

University of Pennsylvania must return Lea Thomas' awards and records to real owners who are female swimmers. 06/14/2024 "The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed a challenge from transgender swimmer Lia Thomas, who had asked the Swiss-based court to reject a policy that would prevent her from competing in women's races at elite competitions.

In its ruling, which was published Wednesday, the panel of arbitrators determined that Thomas did not have standing to challenge the policy created by swimming's international federation, World Aquatics. The CAS panel found that "for the time being" she is not eligible to compete in elite competitions through World Aquatics or USA Swimming, so the policy does not apply to her.

"She is currently only entitled to compete in USA Swimming events that do not qualify as 'Elite Events,'" according to the arbitral award."

06/14/2024 Biden lost a Title IX challenge. Court determined the law was made to protect biological women. I also read that since trans have been allowed to compete with women they have taken over 1,000 awards from women swimmers. Seems they already made another category for trans swimmers but no trans swimmers want to compete in it. They only want to compete against women swimmers and not other trans swimmers. I agree they should be allowed to swim and compete but trans swimmers should not be able to take records and awards from women. It's just not fair to women. Maybe they can compete with women but their times and place should be judged against the mens times and not womens.

ORIGINAL: I was a top ten swimmer in the United States. I started with Beverly Hills YMCA, Culver City Roadrunners, Beverly Hills Catholic School (now Good Shepherd) and was even on the USC women's swim team for a short time in 1982. The YMCA and Roadrunners had coed practice. USC had separate men's and women's workout sessions because of the large number of athletes.

During swim practice athletes of similar ability and speed work out in the same lane for practical reasons. We swim a few seconds behind each other at around the same pace with the fastest leading. For this reason I worked out with women in my same age group. I worked out with Olympians Tiffany Cohen and Dara Torres though Torres was younger than me.

The men's lanes were the first four on the left and women were on the right. The fastest swimmer was on the left. The fastest swimmers were always the older, bigger men. The slowest were always younger, smaller women.

It's a fact of life that most biological men are bigger, stronger and faster swimmers than women of the same age. Adult men swim 12% faster than women in shorter distances such as 50 meters and 8% faster in longer distances such as 800 meters (based on world records). Clearly women are not competitive against men in swimming. This is why we have different events for men and women which are further divided by age group. The purpose is to be fair to the athletes. All athletes have access to the sport of swimming.

12 year olds swim faster than seven year olds. It wouldn't be fair for a 12 year old to race a seven year old. The seven year old doesn't stand a chance as there is no level playing field. No 12 year old would want to race a seven year old because it'd be an empty embarrassing win. Imagine a big 12 year old standing next to a little seven year old on the winner's platform. The trophy would be like taking candy from a baby.

Even if a man takes hormones to reduce his testosterone, he will still be bigger and stronger than a woman if he went through puberty as a man. The only time when a man may be more equal to a woman in sports is if they take hormones before going through puberty. The hormone level is not the only determinate of fairness. So is size, muscle makeup and body type.

Lia Thomas is a trans swimmer. Thomas ranked 65th at UPenn in 2022 when she swam on the men's team against men in the 500 yd freestyle. She ranked 1st when she swam as a woman against women. Clearly, this is not a fair or level playing field in a competitive setting. It's like the 12 year old swimming against a seven year old.

"Women's sports advocate Riley Gaines, an All-American swimmer who competed for the University of Kentucky, says that she and her teammates were forced to share a locker room with Thomas and were exposed to male genitalia." I feel this is wrong. People changing deserve privacy. Women shouldn't be forced to see male genitalia when they are changing in the women's locker room. Men are not allowed in the women's locker room for this reason and others. Women would be forced to change in a bathroom stall in order to get privacy. An accommodation should be made for Lia.

I was the only woman on the men's water polo team at Beverly Hills High School. Only the men's locker room was open during early morning workout before school. I didn't barge into the men's locker room to change with the boys. They would have complained. I wore my suit under my clothes before I rode my bicycle to school. After workout I changed under a towel in the swim gym. I wouldn't want to make the boys or me uncomfortable.

Title IX is a Federal Civil Rights law amendment made in 1972 which gives all equal access and opportunity in sports in schools which receive federal funds. "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." This is why I was allowed to be on the men's water polo team. They didn't have a women's team. Excluding trans people from sports would be a violation of Title IX and just plain wrong. Everyone should be able to participate no matter what. Having separate mens and womens competitive events is not nor has it ever been a violation of this law. The purpose is fairness. This is why it would be fair to not allow trans men to compete for records and awards against women.

I don't have a problem with trans swimmers on the women's team. Let them work out, compete and have fun with the team. Just don't let them set official records or receive official medals for placing. It's not fair to women. It especially would not be fair if a biological woman is trying to get a swimming scholarship to college and there are only so many spots. A woman would lose an opportunity to compete or receive a scholarship. A woman could also lose out holding official records. We need to be fairer to women in sports while still including everyone.

United With Israel Rally, March at USC May 8, 2024 Los Angeles, California by Mary Cummins

United for Israel pro Israel, Jewish people rally and march at USC in Los Angeles, California May 8, 2024. Christian worship artist Sean Feucht, Pursuit Church, Let Us Worship, Hold the Line, StandWithUs, Concerned Women for America, Shanee Zamir, Mary Cummins were at the rally and march on Figueroa, Exposition and Jefferson around University of Southern California campus.

The national anthem on Israel and the US Star-spangled Banner were sung along with uplifting Christian and Jewish songs including I Exhalt Thee, Im Israel Chai, God of Israel... Everyone was waving Israel and US flags while singing and praying for peace and the return of the hostages.

There were two men with Palestine flags kept far away from the event by security. LAPD shut down the streets and escorted by the marchers east of Exposition, North on Figueroa and West on Jefferson to the USC campus gates. There was one crazy USC student in graduation robe grabbing her crotch telling us to "suck my dick! Fuck you! Hitler! Hamas!" There was one beat up white pickup truck with the two guys and the Palestine flag who drove by and gave us the finger. Hundreds more on the street honked their car horns, waves, supported the marchers.

The marchers were wearing various supportive tshirts and carried signs while chanting "bring them home, never again, im israel chai..." Videos on YouTube. Photos below.

Pro Palestine Protest at USC May 2, 2024 photos, videos by Mary Cummins

UPDATE: May 5, 2024 Early this morning after days of warnings, written notices and signs LAPD came in and removed the encampment. Protesters left peacefully. They're now cleaning the site. USC did everything right as opposed to UCLA. USC is also a private school and smaller so it was easier. There were also fewer protesters.

ORIGINAL: USC campus locked up tight May 2, 2024 around 4:00 pm. Only two entrances were open on Jefferson and Figueroa with security and ID check. Students, employees only or reservations. I'm alumni so I had a reservation and registered at the gate with my ID.

Tommy Trojan statue was cleaned of graffiti. So was the fountain. They were both gated with security guards and security car right in front. Lots of graduates taking photos in their full graduation gear.

The few protesters looked more like students today with just a couple of professional organizers. A guy got up once an hour and reads chants off his phone for protesters to repeat. They shouted the usual chants "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free," ...

It was much tamer today. I wore my USC shirt with a huge blue star of David on the front.
