CleanFoodFacts.com which is Center for Consumer Freedom which is run by paid lobbyist Richard Berman just placed a full page ad in the Los Angeles Times attacking Beyond Meat burgers. The meat industry clearly feels threatened by new plant based burgers which are doing extremely well. This is paid for fake news, propaganda, false advertising. They will do anything to attack the plant based food when they really should be making their own plant based burgers instead.
Ingredients listed on left are for Beyond Beef burger.

It's all high quality vegan food. Dog food is human food. It's a hell of a lot healthier than meat. No dead animals, antibiotics, hormones, meat by products... I would gladly eat the ingredients on the left and the right. In fact meat eaters are eating all of the ingredients on the left and right even if they don't eat Beyond Meat burgers. These ingredients are in just about everything you eat.

Richard Berman is the CEO and says he only gets $13K/yr salary. Look below and you will see his PR firm "Richard Berman and Company" gets $1.3M! Almost every penny of income is spent to harm animals. He calls it a "management" fee. The rest of the income goes to advertising, promotion, office expenses, travel and legal fees. NOTHING goes to animals or any worthy cause. They also do a lot of lobbying. They state their main goal is to attack HSUS, PETA… That is their "mission statement." I really don't think they should be a legal non-profit because they are not helping animals, people or the environment. If anything they are anti all of those things. They are a nonprofit so people will not realize they are just paid bashers, PR, lobbyists for the meat industry.
More about this charade. I personally believe that Center for Consumer Freedom should not be a 501 3c. They don't help animals, people or the environment. It seems to me to be tax fraud, money laundering shell. Companies can "donate" money to them and get a tax write off. In exchange the companies actually get a service which is positive press for them and attacks on HSUS, PETA, PCMA...

Richard Berman's own son stated that his father Richard was a "demon."
"he made another post on the message board revealing that he is the son of lobbyist Richard Berman.[2] The two have been estranged since about 2006, when the younger Berman demanded that his father halt his work supporting guns, alcohol, union-busting and other industries of the like, or else he would sever their relationship. Richard Berman refused, and the two have not spoken since. In the message board entry, he called his father "evil," a "human molestor," an "exploiter," a "scoundrel," and "a world historical motherfucking son of a bitch."[2] Berman ended his post by saying, "I am the son of a demon come to make good the damage."
It's also included in the son's obit in the NY Times. It makes you wonder if his father's toxicity and hatred for humans, animals and the earth was involved in his son's suicide. I can't imagine having such a monster as a relative let alone a parent.
