James Suthann, James Corell Doughty Suthann was arrested for felony animal cruelty. He was grooming a service dog for a disabled veteran suffering from PTSD. He didn't feel the dog was standing still enough so he twisted his tail 360 degrees breaking it off. Tail was removed. Police refuse to release video of incident as it is too graphic.

James has been arrested six times in Brevard County, Florida alone since 2012. The charges are aggravated stalking and two arrests for violation of domestic protective order. Also arrested for criminal mischief in a religious building, see all below. He was awaiting trial on all of them with no sentencing since 2012? Could they not find him? He's had the same home address for years. They should have arrested his violent ass before this happened. Grooming salon needs to do a basic background check. He was injured in a motorcycle crash in 2011 when he ran into a car. Father is Robert, mother is Dannelle. His first name is from his paternal grandfather. His middle names are from his maternal grandfather.

His family is from Maryland, Ohio and New Jersey. His sister above was a beauty queen who lost control of her car, rolled it, didn't wear a seat belt and died instantly.

James stated he was indigent. He got 12 months of probation. He must have psychiatric treatment. He can't have weapons. He must stay away from woman. He must take substance abuse treatment. He took a plea agreement.
