Michael James Tyree born October 31, 1983 in Germany died August 27, 2015 in Santa Clara County, California. He is preceded in death by his mother Jan Pikpin Tyree and father Lt. Col. Ronald Wayne Tyree. He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth (Jean-Paul Ott) of Jacksonville, Florida and Shannon Tyree of New York, New York.

"The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office acted swiftly after the 31-year-old Tyree was found naked in his single cell, covered in feces. The coroner determined he bled to death after suffering blunt force trauma. Three correctional deputies, 27-year-old Matthew Farris, 28-year-old Jereh Lubrin and 27-year-old Rafael Rodriguez, were arrested on suspicion of murder, assault under color of authority and conspiracy."

Recent Santa Clara County criminal cases. He was not incarcerated. He was put in the jail for special needs inmates until they could find a bed for him at a mental health facility. This story is just so sad. I had a schizophrenic bipolar neighbor once. He got in trouble all the time when he was off his meds. Off his meds he was irritated, furiously painting, working, yelling singing. On his meds he barely moved and looked depressed. Mental illness is a horrible thing. He also went by the name Michael James Pipkin Tyree.
