Eli was born March 4, 2015 without a nose. His rare condition is called congenital arhinia. He is survived by his mother Brandi Nichole McGlathery, her partner Chris Garcia, biological father Jeremy Finch, brother Brysen, sister Willow Kate, grandfather Barry Jumper, Aunt Amber McGlathery, and many other relatives and friends. Eli was two years old. Brandi initially thought Troy Thompson was the father which is why "Thompson" is listed as Eli's last name on the birth certificate. DNA tests proved Troy was not the father but Jeremy was.

Brandi posted this photo. He died in a hospital at 10:40 p.m. on June 3. This is a very sad situation. After she posted this she got rid of Eli's Facebook page.

I have a feeling there will be more to this sad story. Brandi lost custody of her baby for a while after she left him at her then alleged grandparents' house. There were allegations of drug use, abuse and child abandonment. The mother Brandi posted this.

This is one of the most up close, personal, & brutally honest posts I (Eli's mommy) have ever made. Please, keep all criticism to yourself at this point, as my heart can't handle anymore attacks thatn it's already been dealt this week. In June of 2014, Troy Thompson & I split up. After finding out he had been involved with someone else, I ran back to my ex, Jeremy Finch. I was emotionally torn, & made a mistake based on a momentary lapse of judgement. I was young, I was irrational, & I’m only human. Although Troy has a different story, both guys knew about my pregnancy. They knew about each other. Troy blocked me on Facebook, Instagram, & my phone number for the duration of my pregnancy. He never provided anything for Eli, although his family did help some. When I was in labor with Eli, Troy came to the hospital. He CHOSE to be in the delivery room, he CHOSE to cut the umbilical cord, he CHOSE to have his family there with him. Once we realized that Eli was born without a nose, Troy was there every second he could be. During our 4 week stay in the NICU, his family became very active in Eli’s medical training. A DNA test was never mentioned. Now, I made sure to give Eli my last name & leave the father unlisted on his birth certificate, because I did not want to be the type of “baby mama” that forces a child onto someone. On March 26, 2015, just 22 days after Eli’s birth, Troy came to me & asked to change Eli’s last name to Thompson. I asked if he wanted to do a DNA test first & his response was “I don’t need one, that’s my son.” & So, we filed to have his birth certificate amended. A few months down the road, Troy & I fell apart. His mother threw me, Eli, & Brysen on the streets. I was mad, heartbroken, & numb. I felt like my whole world had stopped. Troy was mean & hateful to me, & completely shunned Eli for the next month & a half. He was rushed back to the ER one night when he had stopped breathing. Troy showed up at the hospital, but instead of being there for Eli, he focused his attention on attacking & demeaning me. I asked him to leave, & he told me he didn’t have to because he was the father. Out of hurt & anger I reminded him that we didn’t know that for sure. So, without me knowing, he had an at home DNA test done, while his father & stepmom were babysitting on August 20. About a week later, I find out, via Troy’s facebook, that the DNA test showed that Troy was not Eli’s biological father. That was the last time I spoke to Troy. He has not asked to see, check up on, or provide for Eli since then. He completely walked away. I don’t blame him at all, & I know he was, & probably still is, hurting from it. I understand why he walked away. His father & stepmom came to me about a week later & told me that they loved Eli & wished to still be in his life. I had an overwhelming fear that nobody else would accept my baby as their grandson, so I allowed them to do so. Since then, they have babysat Eli on the weekends for me while I work. During this time, Jeremy Finch agreed to a DNA test, which came back saying that he was in fact Eli’s father. Now, for the past month, I have felt extremely uneasy about Troy’s stepmom & father keeping Eli. His stepmom, Sharon, was becoming eerily attached to Eli & his “fame”. I can’t explain it exactly, all I can say is, my gut told me something wasn’t right. I then found out something about her, that I will chose not to publicize, that made me cease all visits & communication. I removed all of Eli’s things from her home & let her know that I wouldn’t be allowing her to keep Eli anymore, & I explained why. Well, this past Monday, DHR showed up at my door, with Sharon, & told me they were placing my son with her for 90 days while they conducted an investigation. When I asked what their grounds were, the caseworker could not answer me. Tuesday morning, I showed up at his office with valid evidence, & tons of questions. Finally he told me that the accusations made against me were as follows: I have a drug habit, & I leave Eli with people who are not medically qualified to manage a trach. I explained to him my concerns of him being at Sharon’s house, & he made arrangements for Eli to be placed with a biological family member that I trusted. He called Sharon to let her know that I would be coming to pick up Eli, & she rushed to get a letter from Eli’s ENT stating how medically fragile he was & how he didn’t need to be with anyone that he wasn’t comfortable with. By the time that fiasco was sorted out, it was too late to pick him up. So at 8am this morning, I was at DHR, agreeing to a DNA test, or whatever it took to get my baby home. I was told if I passed my drug screen, I could bring my son home. I passed it, & they told me to go pickup Eli & we could put this whole thing behind us. Again, he called Sharon to let her know to gather Eli’s things because I was coming to get him. She then ended the conversation with the caseworker & pulled strings with the lawyers she knows, & somehow managed to file a petition for emergency temporary custody (based on the fact that Eli is medically fragile), have it signed off on, & a hearing set, all within an hour. Then proceeded to rub it in my face, like a child. Now, our hearing is set for 9 am in the morning. I don’t know how an unbiological relative could do this, especially after me clearing my name of all accusations, but she has friends in high places, so I’m assuming that’s it. Eli is my entire world, so I am asking for all prayers & any words of kindness. If anyone would care to write a letter to the Judge overseeing our case, please feel free to email it to me at momofamiracle0304@gmail.com. At one point I truly believed Sharon loved my son, but now I truly believe it is only because she is obsessed with having a “famous grandson”, who coincidently has a $72,000 gofundme account. Please, prayers & good vibes only. My heart doesn’t know how to beat without Eli."

I was set on being alone because my kids needed me to get it together, so I did. & I will be damned, if just as I made it to the top, God didn't remind me how lonely it is...& he sent me you. It's been a LONG road, but we have come a LONG way, my baby. I made mistakes, I had short comings, & I still have days where I get so overwhelmed with you, your brother & sister that I wanna curl up and cry, but I have found myself in you. You made me grow up, & you taught me what unconditional love is. You will forever be the little boy that busted my heart wide open. She just posted this. Your baby just died and you're most upset about family members sharing old photos of him and saying they're upset? Something is not right here. Why would she care if other people post that they're sad? Only birth mothers can be sad?

I shouldn't have to make this post, but leave it to crap news articles and people seeking attention to make it necessary to do so.
Eli was loved by so many. He touched the entire world. I am forever grateful for that. However, there are some, that have taken it upon themselves to share pictures and make posts, knowing full well they LEFT Eli's life after being allowed the opportunity to stay, because they had issues with me. Well, sorry but I believe that if you loved HIM, you would have cast aside your distain for me. Furthermore, these people are the same ones who have spent the past 2 years bashing me on social media, attempting to rip Eli from my home, and belittle me. They know who they are, so to you I say this:
You have every right to be sad. To hurt. To cry. To wish you had seen him more. What you do NOT have the right to do, is act as if you are hurting more than those who have been constant in his life. And in case you forgot, the only ones who have been in his life from his first breath to his last, are me & my family. God, yes, pray for everyone that loved him. Pray for his father. His siblings. His support system. We are ALL devastated. But in the midst of sharing the last photos you took while in his life, over a year ago, and posting "pray for the Finch family", maybe have some compassion & add his mother. I can assure you, nobody feels what I am feeling. I carried him. I birthed him. No bond could compare. This is not to take away from anyone in his life, as you took away from me, it is merely a reminder that, like it or not, I will always be his mother & it is high time you start acknowledging that.

Whatever the case it's very sad all the way around. I don't know the specifics of Eli's issues but other babies born with no nose recently have survived. I'm not rushing to judgment. I'm just posting some facts.

Donald Trump asked Rogers if he could publicly state that there was no evidence of collusion, the Washington Post reported on Monday in the latest revelation in the unfolding scandals surrounding Trump.

Rogers was floored by the request. Not only are national security agencies supposed to be insulated from partisan politics, but Trump appeared to be asking Rogers to both comment on an ongoing investigation and say something that Rogers couldn’t know was true. Adam Entous and Ellen Nakashima report:

In his call with Rogers, Trump urged the NSA director to speak out publicly if there was no evidence of collusion, according to officials briefed on the exchange.

Rogers was taken aback but tried to respectfully explain why he could not do so, the officials said. For one thing, he could not comment on an ongoing investigation. Rogers added that he would not talk about classified matters in public.

Trump also tried to get Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats to publicly knock down allegations of ties between his campaign and Russia. And White House officials asked for help from the two top intelligence officials to pressure Comey to close the Russia probe."

Torres grew up between New York and Puerto Rico. Torres got his first break working on the set of the Mambo Kings, 1991, teaching Antonio Banderos how to Salsa. As a Hollywood choreographer, he would instruct actors such as Vanessa Williams, Jack Lemmon, and Walter Mathau in two of America’s most romantic films, Dance With Me (1993) and Out to Sea (1998). Everywhere there was Salsa, Torres seemed to be there. Albert Torres began producing dance and competition events in 1999.Torres was the creator of the Los Angeles Salsa Congress. He who brought to Los Angeles some of the most important names in Latin music such as Fania All-Stars, El Gran Combo, Oscar D'Leon, El Canario and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, among others. He became the most influential salsa promoter in the United States. His untimely death came days before his 19th Annual LA Salsa Fest. The Festival celebrated the diversity of Afro/Latino rhythms and the unmistakable legacy it had brought to the world. The freedom of the dance and its unifying powers is what drove Torres to do what he did. And he did it well traveling to as many as 48 countries a year throwing conferences, contests, revolving around Salsa performances around the world. He had been sick for the last year. He became very ill May 22 and passed away on May 25, 2017 at the age of 60 in the hospital. He is survived by his mother Luisa Velez, sister Debbie, brother Michael Torres-Velez, ex-wife Maya, daughters, relatives and many friends.

Albert's mother, sister and brother came to LA for Salsa Fest. They were by his side in the end. Torres had been struggling with his health during the World Latin Dance Cup in 2016 in Miami. He was bed-ridden taking a break because of pain. He had a kidney infection. His doctor told him it's a matter of eating healthy and reducing stress. He was a workaholic.

By some accounts Albert was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, USA. By others he was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Lino Padron Rivera high school in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico. He also attended UCLA. He was the founder and CEO of Albert Torres Productions.

Per November 22, 1998 LA Times articles he grew up in Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York. He never met his father who vanished into a heroin addiction. His mother remarried and they moved to North Carolina. The marriage lasted a year then Albert's mother moved back to Puerto Rico. He ultimately left Puerto Rico and moved to San Francisco in the '80's. He ended up selling drugs and boozing. Finally in 1985 he stopped drinking after joining AA. In 1994 he was working as the intake coordinator at the Exodus Drug and Rehabilitation Center at the Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital in Marina del Rey, California. He rekindled his love of Salsa and ended up on the set of 1992 "Mambo Kings." Then he blew it because of a gambling habit. He embezzled $32,000 from the center and was caught in 1994. He pled guilty in exchange for probation and community service. He ended up cleaning Venice beaches and promoting Salsa.

Jay Kordich, known by millions as the "Juiceman" and the "Father of Juicing," left this realm peacefully in his sleep from natural causes on May 27, 2017. John Kordich was born in 1923 in San Pedro, California to Yugoslavian parents. He graduated from San Pedro High School Class of '41. He was on the Student Council, Lettermen's Club, Track and Football teams. His nicknames were "Johnny" and "Rash." He went to Compton Junior College then graduated from USC in 1951. He played on the USC Football Team in 1948 as an Reserve Running Back. Jay's entire life was filled with a passion for teaching the power of juicing to all who would listen. Adored by all, Jay was an eternal optimist, and truly was the embodiment of what it means to live life to the fullest. Those of you who've known Jay can agree that no matter the circumstances, he always saw the beauty around him and never lost his sense of wonder. Jay was a true pioneer, delivering a powerfully healing message of juicing to millions of people worldwide through television. Jay is predeceased by his parents, survived by his sisters, Louise Mary (Jay) Fletcher, Annie Winifred (Robert) McGee, current wife of 36 years, Linda, and their two sons, John and Jayson. Jay was 93 years old.

Jay Kordich talks about growing up in San Pedro. Just FTR Jay's father Jakov "Jack" was born in Vis, Yugoslavia. He came to New York January 1921. His wife came to the US November 28, 1922 at New York. They were married November 6, 1920 in Vis, Yugoslavia. The original last name was Kordic. Jack came to the US via France. His wife came via Germany.

"Two men who died were identified as: 53-year-old Ricky John Best of Happy Valley, 23-year-old Taliesin Myrddin Namkai-Meche of Southeast Portland. Best died at the scene of the attack, and Namkai-Meche died at a hospital. Police said the victim injured in the attack was 21-year-old Micah David-Cole Fletcher of Southeast Portland. He remains in a Portland hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said."

Who was Taliesin Myrddin who was killed by a mentally ill racist on a train in Oregon? His real name appears to be Justin Gareth Grainger. I'm not 100% but the name, mother, date... all match. His mother and all of his siblings except one have adopted hippie names. His mother's maiden name is Myrddin per the birth certificate. Seems she's changed her name many times.

Asha/Debra/Paula's father was George Charles William Van Olphen 1910-1990 from the Netherlands. They came here via Argentina. Her mother was Yone Fanny Barreraoro 1926-2005. CNN reported, "A man fatally stabbed two people and injured a third on a commuter train in Oregon's largest city Friday as people confronted him for "yelling a gamut of anti-Muslim and anti-everything slurs," a Portland police spokesman said.

Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, was on a Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) light-rail train in Portland late Friday afternoon when he started yelling what "would best be characterized as hate speech toward a variety of ethnicities and religions," police said in news release.

Christian may have directed slurs at two young women who witnesses described as Muslim, one of whom was wearing a hijab, Portland police Sgt. Pete Simpson told CNN.

As two men tried to calm him down, Christian stabbed them and one other man, police said."

05/28/2017. I asked Nick why people should donate money for his business. This was his ridiculous reply.

We have helped schools with free prop rentals, specially for children with special needs. We support our young talent in their arts who come to us with very small budgets for rentals. I've lived here my entire life. I rescue animals. There has never been a pet adoption at the store. I've seen him chase the homeless away. He only helps himself. He doesn't pay back the money he borrowed from personal friends.

Who is Nick Metropolis of Nick Metropolis "Collectible Furniture." He's a con man, scammer deadbeat of many names. Here are a few. Nick G Fragos, George Fragos and Nick Metropolis. His real name is George Nicholas Fragos. He was allegedly in the movie "The Boost" as a walk on per LA Times article March 1989. Sounds like he was an extra. He said he was in the movie "The Date" with Tony Danza. There was no such movie. This man lied to his mother. He's not listed in any credits for any movie anywhere that I can see. He was no actor.

Nick Metropolis, George Fragos, mother Georgia Fragos, sister Rita Fragos, father Nicholas George Fragos born in Greece.

His father born in Greece died in 1957. He was Nicholas George Fragos. His mother was Georgia Fragos who died in 2008. He has a sister named Rita. He's from Rochester, New York, Monroe High School graduate of 1963. The "Metropolis" was added later after 1987. I don't see a legal name change. He uses two different birth dates for sure, August 7, 1945 and August 15, 1945. He is not related to the mathematician Nichols Metropolis. He's been involved in many evictions, collections and lawsuits by clients since at least 2001. He settled or lost the lawsuits.

He borrowed money from friends then never paid them back. They didn't sue him. They asked for the money back. They needed the money for medical care but Nick would not pay them back. Lower than the lowest.

"Steve Galerkin" Nick is a crook....he borrowed five thousand dollars ten years ago and has yet to pay me back. He is a crook who deserves the Karma "GOD" is dishing out....he is a fraud. I dare you Nick to write back to me...I dare you."

His current wife is Rita Ortega-Metropolis born 1965. She was not born in California. They have two children who are adults, Nickolas and Georgia named after his parents. They live at 766 Plymouth, Los Angeles, CA which is a triplex. They are renting a unit, I don't see that they have ever owned real estate so far. He has another daughter Krista Bates Fragos born 1981 in Los Angeles. Her mother is Sharon A Bates born 1955 who married George N Fragos in 1980 in Los Angeles. I feel bad for both of his wives and all of his children. His ex and current wife and kids friends. Probably something in common as Nick, George is out there.

Nick says because of the rains no one want to his open air store. He said he couldn't pay rent and is $100,000 behind on his rent. Then he had a story about stolen collectibles. Didn't he have insurance? Did he file a police report? If he had something that valuable, why didn't he sell it before it was stolen so he could pay his rent?

Below are nine lawsuits. He is the defendant in every single one. He didn't win any. The most recent lawsuit is the most recent eviction. Nick Metropolis signed an agreement stating he will pay the $16,000/month rent due in his lease. When he was sued he replied stating he wasn't paying rent because the owner is a slumlord. He said the place was in horrible condition needing many repairs which the landlord refused to do. He said he paid to make the repairs then deducted that money from his rent. That sounds like a story to me. It was a dump when he first rented it. I've lived here my entire life. It's basically one office with some covered storage and the rest open.

Owner is Avrohom Kollel Bais. It's a 10,416 sf lot. The address may be 100-108 S La Brea. It was once an F1 use lube rack for cars. In 1929 it was an auto mechanic shop. It was changed to one story 26' x 32' change of use from auto sales to used furniture sales B2 occupancy in 1995. 1993 current owner demolished a building without permits. That whole property needs to be demolished. I've been there it's a wreck.

A 2010 article showed that Nick here gets most of his items from the trash. He picks up trash then sells it. He doesn't even fix it up or improve it. A man bought Homer and Marge Simpsons statues from Nick. After they negotiated for two weeks and the guy finally paid Nick said he found them in the trash. The guy who bought the statues said Nick's shop is actually a junkyard. I've been there and I agree. It's all trash. Anyway the guy had to spend a bit of money restoring the statues. I bet he just scans craigslist and freecycle for free listings.

I see Nick Metropolis started a gofundme. He wants people to give him money to pay his $16,000/month rent for his for profit business. WTH? It's a business. Don't give him money. He'll just blow it anyway. Look at all his judgments, liens, collection cases. Not only that but Nick is a major asshole. I went in there once. He basis the prices of items on what the person looking at them looks like. I went to move a piece of trash so I could walk to look at something. He yelled a crazy price for the item which was trash. Anything I touched, a broken, rusted old chair, $1,000! The items are exposed to the elements. They're rotten, rusted, mildew, mold, dirt all over.

I just noticed that Nick made it so no one could comment on his photos. I assume people were leaving nasty messages. He's been sued by clients and lost. I also see his wife is not his facebook friend. Based on what she says in Spanish she doesn't care for him.

Autumn was an active teenager, often pursuing involvement in charities– the most notable being the Write-A-Thon To End Homelessness For Mothers and Their Children charity. She was studying at Sarah Lawrence College and had been writing a sci-fi fantasy novel. She passed away at the age of 20. She is survived by her parents and siblings, Olivia, Willow, Jett and Ezekiel.
