Growing up John went by his middle name Wesley or Wes. He attended Los Angeles Baptist High School class of 1969. He was on the basketball and baseball team, loved to surf. He later attended Pepperdine University in Malibu from 1970 to 1973. He was on the baseball team playing infield during that time.

June 12 1969 Van Nuys news "WES JERMYN DRAFTED BY KANSAS CITY Infielder Wes Jermyn of Los Angeles Baptist High School has been selected by the Kansas City Royals of the American League on the 10th round of the major free agent draft. Jermyn, a 6 ft. 2 in. 185 pound senior, played one year at L.A. Baptist after transferring from Black- Foxe Academy (military school). He led the Olympic League in batting during 1968 with an average of .444." He had 11 doubles at Pepperdine university in 1972 which was the record that year. He played professional baseball in 1973. He's listed at 6'2" 195 lbs.  Photos below from Los Angeles Baptist High School 1968 and 1969. He played Varsity basketball and baseball both years.

His schizophrenia caused him to deteriorate from 1973 and on. Because he went to military school I believe he started exhibiting symptoms earlier. His sister Beverly and mother Olga tried to save him but couldn't. They always took care of his bills, made sure he had food. He has a trust fund controlled by his sister. Finally in 2013 he was accepted into a housing program for mentally ill in Hollywood on Vine. He has his own apartment and takes the bus to Will Rogers park most days. Even after he got an apartment he still has trouble with BH police.

I've met him quite a few times from 1978 to the present. In 1978 I was a major roller skater even competing in races. Skates were my main form of transportation at that time. I'd pass by him near El Rodeo on Wilshire and Santa Monica. He'd nod to my skates and I'd tip my head.

He used to skate all covered up in black fabric. I assumed he was black. Finally city of BH told him he couldn't wear fabric covering his face so he removed his face fabric. I doubt today they'd force someone to remove their head, face scarf. He mainly did it because of the sun. Imagine eight hours of dancing, roller skating, biking a day. He then started wearing the visor to keep the sun off of him.

He speaks in a very soft voice. He will softly answer a question then his answers tend to trail off. He is against money. I'm glad the three guys who used him to sell expensive tshirts are gone. I believe they did take advantage of his schizophrenia. They used his mental illness to sell stupid shirts. Thankfully his sister Beverly takes care of him.

Wes reminds me of Slomo. Slomo had a medical diagnosis which made him quit medicine. He decided to just to what felt good for the rest of his life. He wanted to get away from materialism. He would skate on the beach path in San Diego just gliding to music. Slomo easily communicates with others. He functions in the real world.

Keishon , Kenyata Blake, twins stab 62 year old neighbor Maria Rivas to death while purse snatching - Mary Cummins, Los Angeles, California

Keishon Jamal Blake, Kenyata Jermaine Blake, murderers, stabbing, death - Mary Cummins, Los Angeles
UPDATE: They are telling people they didn't do it. They were in jail previously less than a month before this. One has a girlfriend who is supposedly pregnant with his baby. She is showing off her hickies on FB as her cover photo. More pics of the ridiculousness below. They admit he was in the Bloods gang. I saved all of their FB pages, info, instagram before I posted it as always. These two 18 year old kids came up behind a 62 year old female neighbor who was carrying groceries and her purse home to her families. They stabbed her from behind while she carried groceries by herself to her home which she owned and shared with her sister and all their families. I hate these punks more and more every day. This was not their only victim!

Here is Maria Elena Rivas' obituary with over 50 photos of her with her extended family. She owned a duplex on Van Buren with her sister Rosa blocks from where she was murdered.

Another murder hits close to home. These twins full names Kenyata Jermaine Blake and Keishon Jamal Blake were born July 25, 1996. They are adults who have been in trouble with the law quite often. 6'1" 155 lbs brown eyes, black hair. Below is the news item.

http://abc7.com/news/twin-brothers-18-arrested-in-south-la-stabbing-death/494273/

Supposedly these kids had been in foster care most of their life. As I look at their Facebook pages they had few if any friends except each other. Kenyata had been arrested previously as an adult. Looks like they had been in juvenile hall previously. I'm looking at their recent arrest records here http://www.lasd.org and here http://www.lacourt.org

I actually like some of the homes in this area but I never bought there because there are some bad elements around the edges of West Adams. I officially stopped looking there when I appraised a home where an entire family was murdered.

Kenyata has a prior. He was arrested 12/30/14, assigned jail 1/4 then was released 1/7 on own recognizance. 1/26 he was arrested along with his twin brother for murder no bail. He's now in men's central jail. I don't know why he was in juvie before when he was 18 when he was previously arrested. Maybe it's because these kids are awkward.

Some pics of these kids from their Facebook pages. Again they wear gang clothes, flash gang signs, gang photos, state they are with the Bloods gang... Look at this ridiculous pic of an 18 year old adult Keishon posting in his underwear with a kitchen knife and sun glasses. What a "bad boy." Truly pathetic.

Here he is showing off a gun on his page. He calls himself Jankyred Themack. His girlfriend is Ladyy JankyRed. They post as one person JankyRed1and2. After he posted this pic what appears to be a relative or guardian tells him to take that shit down because he just got out of jail and will probably be thrown back in jail. Then she says she's going to kick his ass as soon as she gets out of the hospital. Looks like everyone tried to save these kids but they just don't care.

It is now the JEM Center at http://www.jemcenter.com The building was built in 1950 and is 27,833 on a 24,003 sf lot.It last sold for $6,500,000 in December 2005. It's currently owned by BSD Properties in Santa Fe Springs, California.

The photo above is from the JEM Center who currently leases it beginning in 2003. When YMCA was at the site 2/3 of the people who went to the Y were not Christian but Jewish. The new Center is Jewish.

I went to the Y with my sister after school from 1972-78. Dara Torres hung out with me there after school. Ricardo Montalbon from "Fantasy Island" used to swim there during senior swim which was after swim team. Buddy Ebson from "The Beverly Hillbillies" also went there. Ben Stiller and his friends used to play basketball there. John Eikrem was the Director when I was there. He had two kids my same age.

John Eikrem used to be the Director. The Y started having some issues in 1988 because of the "C" in YMCA. Here's an article. For those who don't know Beverly Hills is/was mainly Jewish.

Ray Bradbury, writer, home, demolished yesterday. Old and new pics of his house

UPDATE: 01/22/2015: The new owner and architect Mayne is now making up stories. He said he never knew it was the Bradbury house when he first saw it on the market. That's a lie. It says "Bradbury" all over the listing page, see below. It was like that the second it went on the market. There were  a ton of articles about the house being on the market. The second it went on the market I drove down the street to look at it. I even made a Facebook page for the house.

Mayne has stated in the past that he doesn't know why people get upset when he tears down a house to build a new one. He says "architecture is transitory in nature." He said this after he tore down the Bradbury house. Now he's trying to say he saved all the wood to make projects. No, he didn't. I was there. They used machinery to rip down the home. The wood was broken up into little pieces and is now in two large trash bins exposed to rain, sun, heat, cold. If he was going to use the wood, he wouldn't have ripped the home down in that manner and tossed everything in trash bins. The only thing I saw that he saved were two windows.

My family used to own Downtown Salvage. We tore down most of the expensive homes in Beverly Hills for years. We first go in and salvage anything of value like wood beams, fire places, copper plumbing, doors, windows, railings, brick, tile.... We carefully removed that to trucks and transported to our huge indoor warehouses in downtown LA on 7th and Anderson near Mateo. We owned four blocks down there which we sold in the 1980's to a storage company. We carefully stored everything in the warehouse.

After the items of value were removed, then we'd go in with wrecking balls, bulldozers and demolish the home putting that in trash bins which we hauled to the dump. That is not what Mayne did at all. I live up the street and watched this.

REMARKS: 10265 Cheviot Drive is perhaps Cheviot Hill's most important address. For more than half a century it was home to Ray Bradbury, one of the most celebrated, beloved authors of our time.
