ORIGINAL: Neil Gouveia a US citizen originally from Guyana just wrote an op-ed for the New York post titled "I’m an immigrant — and Trump is right on immigration." He claims to be a "conservative" repeating Trump's line on immigration to the "t." He thinks immigrant children should be separated. The US should be more selective about whom they admit into the country. He claims these beliefs have made people hate him which I can understand. I've never seen a bigger snottier hypocrite.
His main item of contention is that if an immigrant crosses the border and has a baby in the US, that baby is a US citizen automatically. He forgets that when his family brought him to the US as a child in 1986 when they became citizens he also became a citizen automatically. He claims the Mexican baby didn't earn its citizenship. Well, neither did he.
Neil Gouveia also claims that the US should be more selective about whom they allow into the country. He forgets his parents were uneducated and poor. If the US were more selective, he wouldn't be in New York today. He'd be in Guyana. His family probably was able to pull strings because his father was a customs official.
In the article Neil Gouveia states that his parents worked hard to get into the country and to stay here. He forgets that Mexicans and Central Americans also work hard to get into the country and stay here. They walk over 1,000 miles over three months to get to the border. They didn't take a plane like Gouveia. When they arrive they work as maids, bus boys, janitors just like his parents. Why are his parents better than Latino parents? They're not.
In the article Neil Gouveia brags about what a great "citizen" he is by learning US culture by watching TV sitcoms. He also brags about his education an education he got from free public schools, a public college and a scholarship he would not have gotten in Guyana. He appears to feel that Latino immigrants don't graduate from college and they are beneath him. Latinos do graduate from college and become doctors, lawyers and teachers.
On top of all of this Neil Gouveia admitted publicly that his family lied on immigration documents. They committed perjury by lying and stating they were leaving the child with cerebral palsy with a relative. She instead left the child with a friend which is legally considered abandonment. Later when she was in the US the mother got help to bring the disabled child to the US. The law states disabled people can't become citizens as they will end up on Medicare using public funds. The mother must have gotten someone to say maybe even lie and say they would sponsor the child and pay the bills. Sadly the daughter died from pneumonia shortly after arriving.
If you lie on immigration documents, you will be deported and can never be a citizen in the future. This means Neil Gouveia's family of nine is going back to Guyana.
There is a really horrible racist joke(?) which relates here. "How do you keep (one member of a race, color, whatever...) out of your country club? Let one become a member. He'll keep the rest out." That is Neil Gouveia. He wants to be a "conservative" white GOP.
I see they got rid of comments on his ridiculous op-ed. I'm sure they were horrendous.
Here's his Twitter. He's supports Sarah Huckabee Sanders, attacks women's looks, attacks Clinton's looks, kisses Trump's ass, supports convicted criminal D'Souza, hates Muslims, he's pro NRA, pro Fox news, he worked at Fox news, he retweets Trump's personal attacks on others, he attacks Dems in vicious personal ways, he attacks immigrants, he doesn't know what socialism is... This guy is pure trash.
